    Not good for a beginner. The phrases are spoken way too fast and the speakers on the kindle HDX don't allow for enough clarity to truly understand the phrases. However, if you already learned these basic phrases, forgot them, and just want to relearn them, then this is probably good.

    I use this app all the time when traveling in China. I know a little Chinese and this app helps me when I get stuck. I can recommend it to all who need to know some conversational Chinese.

    Or if you need to get by in China. I've been looking for an app like this for a while. I was skeptical but I am glad I purchased the pro version. I don't think the free version should even be free. It's that good.
