It’s a nice thread case but not what you need for using them on a sewing machine. Very small spools.

I thought these spools were bigger the way they were presented in the video and the description. No where did they show how small these are and no dimensions were given. I'm keeping them only because I may need to do a very small sewing job and need just a little bit of thread. Ridiculous.

This sewing kit is filled with beautiful, vibrant-colored thread spools. They are small to medium size. They aren’t the large ones like you get at the craft store, so keep that in mind.

The kit comes with large hand needles and a needle threader. The thread is pretty strong and smooth because it’s polyester. I would say this kit is perfect for beginners. Or for someone looking for a bunch of colors in one pack.

This Singer sewing kit is a nice upgrade from my grocery store's mini travel sewing kit. The colors are vibrant and rich and the variety gives me an instant collection of thread suitable for mending any of my colorful shirts. The standard sewing needles and the thread puller are located on the underside of the lid, in a plastic pouch. The plastic pouch was challenging to open and I don't think it is designed for convenient re-use. I received an extra, sixth needle (the kit is supposed to come with 5 needles). I plan to use one of my own thread pullers that has a plastic tab rather than a tin tab. Unlike my cheap mini travel kit, the Singer case is not made from a brittle plastic, and I do not have difficulty opening and closing it. I think this sewing kit is a good value, especially if you own colorful clothing.

This little thread kit is going to be very helpful for my future sewing endeavors. I am just starting out in the world of sewing and it feels a bit excessive right now to get large spools of various colors to build my collection. I think this batch of smaller spools with a variety of colors is going to be great to start with when needing to make small fixes, work on projects with smaller bits to be stitched, and more.

I appreciated how compact the box was and it even came with a threader and sewing needle. I really have no complaints with this. I do expect to buy certain colors of these threads in larger quantity in the future, but for now, this is a great start that allows me to experiment with different colors!
