This particular HTV *can* be used for sublimation!
I did the initial press for 15 seconds at 285F as recommended, then did a cool peel.
I placed a sublimation print on top, and pressed for 45 sec at 385F.
The paper ends up sticking horribly to the HTV, but when it cooled down, I was able to use cold water to get the paper off in chunks. I suppose the other alternative is also to wait 24 hours for it to settle, and then put this in the washing machine.
