    I picked up this Christmas-themed Grinch crochet kit as a holiday project for myself, and it’s been a fun little crafting adventure! The kit includes everything a beginner needs—yarn, hooks, stuffing, and easy-to-follow instructions for making a cute Grinch character. Even though I’m fairly new to crochet, the steps were clear enough that I didn’t feel lost, and I was able to create something that actually looked like the Grinch by the end!

    The yarn quality is pretty good for a beginner kit, and the colors are spot-on for the Grinch. The only thing I wish was different is the amount of yarn included—there was just enough, so I had to be careful not to make any mistakes or I would have run out.

    I’m about halfway through this project and it is so cute!! This kit comes with everything you would need, and there are video instructions to help you learn to do it. I will say this is more beginner-intermediate level, not purely beginner. I went into it with basic crochet knowledge and it is still a little challenging for me. But it is so fun and I am happy with it so far!

    I could not understand the instructions. I have crocheted a lot in the past mostly using You Tube videos but the instructions and video were very difficult to understand. The terms used to describe the stitches made it impossible. I returned it after multiple tries.

    The set is adorable, but the crochet hook included (2.0 mm) is so small it was almost impossible to stitch. I bought this for a beginner and it was very frustrating. It should include a larger hook, at least 4.0 mm or any beginner will be frustrated.

    The yarn splits and the video is horrible, she goes through everything fast, does not break instructions down slowly, not for beginner.

    I have made three of these. They are adorable and the people I made them for love them! HOWEVER - in two of the kits there was not enough green yarn, so I had to finish the body with the jacket yarn. So considering this information, make the ears before you make the right leg and body!!! The evru color yarn on the body will be covered up by the jacket, but if you finish the body and run out of green on the ears, you'll be upset! You can see what ai mean in the photos. The kit is still great, consideringnit was only $10 and it's soooooo cute!!!

    I have made three of these. They are adorable and the people I made them for love them! So considering this information, make the ears before you make the right leg and body!!!
