This is to keep all my writing implements sorted in my computer bag. I like being able to see at a glance which pouch contains what. (I have another similar one for all those little cables).

I'm not sure how long it will hold up, it feels a little iffy in a few spots, but having an organized and color coded storage bag when traveling around is a real help.

This pencil case is certainly functional. The zipper works well, and pens can be clipped into the outer pocket. The piping on holding the mesh sides together is pretty rigid. You can push the piping outward from inside the pencil case to make the case expand to its full capacity, but as you can see in the picture, some of the piping does not straighten out. The case certainly works, but isn't great to look at.

So can you get excited about a pencil case? I am.
Why mesh is great
• You can see through it without cracking that often happens with other clear material.
• Even though it will hold an enormous amount of items it easily compresses to the smaller size. Solid material traps the air so you have to “burp” it and the other material isn’t as flexible either.
• Heat dissipation- I’m using it for my power bank which can get warm when charging and when I’m traveling I don’t always have time to let it cool down before packing . The mesh allows it to cool which is better for the longevity of the power bank.
• Pencil cases can get dirty and the mesh makes it easier to rinse and dry.
