I use these for my hand embroidered christmas ornaments, and they’re the perfect size! They’re good quality and they hold up through vendor events, shipping, and years hanging on the tree. Occasionally I have one with a splinter but that’s to be expected with wood and I just file it off. Other than that I love these hoops. The nut to tighten them is kinda tight but I think that’s good as i’d rather it be tight and tricky to tighten than to be loose and come undone.

They have worked really well at framing small Gelli printed artworks to place in windows. The light shining through them adds a whole different dimension, and I can change them out for different designs.

I purchased these to make Christmas gifts. I have attached a couple pictures of the ones I made today. I like that I can personalize them to my liking. Some of the wood had a few cracks and pulled the fabric. I was able to put a coat of poly on it, and it smoothed it out. Other than that, I am going to continue to create my way through Christmas gifts. As a side note, Chucky was from an old shirt, that cut to size for the ornament. And I sublimated on some polyester for the Clark ornament.
