5.0 out of 5 stars Great markers!!

I absolutely love these markers! they’re very satisfying to color with and blend well. I’m a huge fan of the variety of colors to choose from. In all I would say the only things to be weary of is how much they bleed, with that you have to color lightly in tight areas of the coloring page so it doesn’t bleed over the lines. the other thing would be that the color that is shown on the marker isn’t very accurate and I would definitely recommend doing a color swatch before using the marker.
Besides those couple flaws I’d say this is definitely an affordable, vibrant market set and will continue to use them! They are pretty comparable to the Ohuhu market set, just more affordable. WORTH THE PURCHASE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Affordable and vibrant markers!

Beautiful markers! If you’re looking for alcohol brush markers with a brush tip and a broad tip, these are for you. They’re affordable, vibrant, and blend-able.

Pros
- Comes with a bag to organize your markers
- Dual tip (brush and broad tip) for each color
- Easy to blend (as with all alcohol brush markers, color fast and layer your colors)
- Wide variety of colors

Cons
- The smell of alcohol is strong so make sure to color in a well-ventilated room! This is expected of most alcohol based markers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for starting out coloring

I'm a beginner to coloring and scooped this set because it was more reasonably priced than Ohuhu. Overall, I'm still going to get the 320 Ohuhu set someday because they have a better variety and higher quality, but I wanted a starter set of alcohol markers to see if I would enjoy the hobby - which I do! So this set perfectly lined up with my expectations.

Pros:
- Price point, you can't beat the price for the value.
- Decent selection, especially of browns, greens, and grays
- Excellent for beginners to coloring who don't want to invest too much to start out

Cons:
- These are a bit juicy and like to bleed especially on printer paper.
- Build quality: the brush tips like to bend and fold, they aren't very rigid. And sometimes the tips come off with the caps if you pull hard enough.
- The brush tip is not very good for fine detail work, you'll have to use fine liners instead or try to make the tip of the chisel work.
- Lack of pastels, especially pinks :(
- Dry out relatively fast - I have one dead marker less than a month in and several dying ones

5.0 out of 5 stars Great starter marker!

If ColoringTok has you thinking you're an artist, but you don't want to spend $300 on another brand of markers for a new hobby you don't know if you'll still be doing in a week, these are a great option! I'm new to coloring, but not markers. I've done hand lettering for years. I really enjoy these markers! The color saturation has been really good on most of them. I had a dark brown that seems more dry (see the hedgehog photo). They blend really easily and give that seamless bold color that people love. Using them is SO SOOTHING! I'm getting into coloring because I wanted a calm, meditative hobby. This fits that bill perfectly. I keep saying, "This is SO satisfying...." Almost meditative.

I feel compelled to mention that most of these markers swatch quite a bit darker than that the cap color would let on. Looking at them in the case, it seems you get a good mix of light and dark. After putting them all down on paper, they seem significantly darker as a whole. I don't know why we need SO many dark brown markers and the dark gray / black families are almost indistinguishable on paper. They could stand to augment their line with some more pastels. I will also say that the case is completely unstructured and the markers move around a LOT. I tried to get them in ROYGBIV-ish, but they're always shuffling. If you're someone who likes organization and order, consider another storage solution because this bag they come in is the Wild West.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Markers
Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2024
I love that these markers have a true brush tip. They blend really nicely and are just about perfect minus one thing. The colorless blender doesn’t work as well as the name brand expensive blender, it dries too slowly so the colors bleed out more when you use it. So I purchased one of the expensive blenders and now the set is perfect! Having 121 colors to choose from is wonderful! I love the zippered bag they’re in.

the colors are really vibrant and the markers work really well, i havent had any go dry after coloring 4 pretty full pages. the advice i would give is color in small circles for big spaces so it doesnt get blotchy/streaky and dont color too close to the line because they do bleed quite a bit. if you’re planning on shading with a darker color, wait until your completely done coloring to shade because i know if you do it right away then the colors blend together and dont add a shade effect. overall really good markers for the price

5.0 out of 5 stars These are amazing!

I wanted alcohol markers for a while now and didn't know which ones to get, so I just went for it. I have not used them all but so far I haven't gotten any that are dry like other reviews. Very easy to use and I love the variety of colors and the fact that it comes in a bag. It also comes with a card to test the colors. They do bleed to the back side of the page but I am basically just going to outline the image with a black marker and and will have a reverse side of the pic. Lol
I definitely recommend these!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great markers!!
Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2024
These markers have been extremely fun and satisfying to color with. I tried the more popular brand, Ohuhu, and so many of them dried up within a couple of days. Been using Caliart for a little while now and none of them are dry. These markers have great colors, blend and layer well, and are an amazing quality for a budget friendly price.
