    This ribbon is adorable! Used it to decorate for Christmas around the house. Made some little bows and loved how they came out. Super easy to work with and considering its velvet, the knots don’t slip (loosen) after. I’ll use the leftover ribbon to make bows for gifts.

    I am not sure what truly constitutes ‘velvet’, this ribbon is very soft and has the look of velvet. The material is similar to minky fabric. I completely unwound one of the spools and it is a continuous length. The colors are as described.

    The ends did not fray when I cut a short length, though some fuzzies were left behind. Since the ribbon is fairly thick, it takes slightly more pressure to cut than other ribbons… but a pair of sewing or embroidery scissors is more than sufficient.

    The edge of this ribbon is fairly smooth, but unfinished. If you will be handling the ribbon a lot, the edges will become messier. I cut a length and tied it into a simple bow ~5 times. After this amount of handling, some sections of the ribbon showed a slight separation of the two layers. Less than ½ inch of my 12 inch piece showed this gaping and you can see the separation at the top of the bow in the photo I’ve included. I personally think the gaping is pretty minor, but the importance depends on the intended use.

    Since this ribbon is double sided, it is thicker… small bows hold a nice shape despite the lack of wire and the tails are a bit stiffer than thinner ribbons.

    It is very nice but I wouldn't call it velvet. It's very close if not suede.

    It ties very nicely on a gift. I'm also using it to piece together and embellish a crocheted shaw.

    These are miniature rolls of velvet ribbon. The only use possible, should be for a bows or headband

    I ordered this pack of 3 spools of ribbon to decorate Christmas presents for the holiday. I wasn;t expecting the quality to be too good, but it is actually excellent! The spools contain a nice amount of ribbon which I've used to make bows to adorn presents and also now to make small ribbons for our Christmas tree. My daughter also took a measure of each color to make ribbon ties for her hair. The ribbons are made of a lovely velvet like material and feel so soft to the touch. They are very easy to work with and really add a level of charm and sophistication to whatever you are using the ribbons for.

    I wanted some earth toned colors and the softness of velvet for texture variance with some other rustic textures. The colors are true to pictures but it isn’t a true velvet. Still very pretty and soft and like a few other review described it’s more like a minky. I have worked with minky before and it’s less messy. The best part of this is that it’s double sided so it will be great for bows since there is not a wrong side. Overall I happy with this product.
