    I really like the longer hooks and they are metal which I prefer. The handle is very easy to transition to knife hold, I normally hold my hook pencil style and this is so comfortable to hold either way. The lights are perfect for all my dark yarn work with no glare which is the problem I had with the other light hooks.

    I absolutely love them so far! The only complaint I have is if you have weak hands or some type of hand disability, getting the heads onto the base or body of the hook might be a bit challenging, i have a thumb injury and have a weaker grip than I used to, and I have a sort of tough time getting the heads onto the base, as you habe to use the provided wrenches to tighten them or else they will fall off and do not stay in place unless screwed in. But other than that, the handle is ergonomic and very comfortable on the hands, I've only worked with non ergonomic hooks, and it's a major improvement, and I've noticed my speed improve!

    I did also notice the sizes of the hooks are *ever so slightly* smaller than normal hooks, I'm not sure if it's just me seeing the chains I'm making as smaller, (or if my tension has changed because of the hooks, which are super comfortable on the hands!!) but ethier way it's a slight difference and nothing too major, but it might be important if you're using a super size specific pattern, just check your gauge just like any other hook :)

    For the price I highly recommend!

    I love having all of my hooks in one easy-to-carry little package, instead of having to organize a bunch of separate hooks in my toolkit. The ergonomic handles are comfortable, and the light makes working in suboptimal lighting (or working with black yarn!) so much easier. I also love that there is a row counter and a stitch counter. I don't use the stitch counter much, but the integrated row counter saves my sanity, as I'd been using a 20-sided die until I got this kit.

    The hooks are plastic, which is necessary for the light to work the way that it does, but this makes the smaller sized hooks flimsy. I haven't broken any of them yet, but I know that it's just a matter of time. They should make individual replacements that you can buy. Also, each of the hooks had a little bit of extra plastic at the top of the hook, like a seam. This causes the yarn to snag. Fortunately, I was able to use a nail file to remove it.

    My suggestions to the manufacturer: (1) consider making a version of this with metal hooks, and just have the light shine around the hook instead of through it; (2) make sure that the plastic is smooth with no bumps or seams; (3) offer individual hook attachments for sale, so that broken hooks can be replaced without having to purchase a whole new kit; (4) label the hooks with letter sizes as well as the numerical measurements, so that people don't have to look up what size they're looking for when a pattern calls for an H-sized hook.

    For the price, this is a great little hook set, and it's my go-to for standard hooks now. There are a few quirks, to be sure, and you have to be careful with smaller hook sizes (if you're working on a smaller project that needs high tension, I recommend just using a regular metal hook), but it's certainly worth it.

    Absolutely love these hooks. I love being able to have everything I might need for a project all together in one place! The only downside is that after only a month of use, and even every day use, the handle with all the perks is cracked and doesn’t hole the heads firmly anymore making it unusable. Overall, I would recommend this product just be aware that the plastic is kind of cheap but not bad for the value. I do like how it feels in my hand when I’m holding it and it looks fairly cool. As far as stability, if the plastic wasn’t cheap it would be very stable. Also, one of my heads is unusable as it can’t be screwed into the handle.

    I loved the lighted work area, I didn’t love the roughness of the hook that snagged and frayed the yarn. If quality control had caught that they would have been perfect.
