    I bought this for hand sewn repairs and alterations.

    One project is adding attachments between duvet covers and duvet fillers.

    This is a kit that contains not only a variety of thread colors but also needles and a needle threader. Everything necessary.

    The storage box is too flimsy to hold up so I'll have to find or make another. Even without a functional storage box this is a good value.

    Thread is ok colors are nice I thought the spools would have been bigger however for the price it’s worth it

    This is a mid sewing thread but the value is super good. The colors are not that vibrant in my opinion and the yarns look and feel quite average, with imperfections in them when you touch it. (You can see how the hairs stick up on the twist). If you are new to sewing, then this could be a great way for you to get started but you can expect to graduate from this pretty quickly.

    This product is an excellent value! You get so many different colors of thread, and they all come in generous quantities. The thread feels very durable and I have not experienced any issues with it breaking or having knots. There's nothing worse than using a cheap thread and it having a rough knotted spot in it that gets jammed in the fabric or needle. This thread feels very nice quality and I have not had any issues with jams or knots. I also appreciate the fact that this pack comes with a little sachet of needles, as you can never seem to have too many needles. The threader is also a nice bonus, especially if you have trouble threading needles. The price is beyond fair in my opinion; between the amount of thread you get, the quality and colors provided, and the bonus needles and threader, I would highly recommend this product!

    Before having kids I rarely needed more than some white thread and a needle to fix a button on a dress shirt, but as I've gotten older (and less single) having other supplies on-hand has become helpful. I'm certainly not a professional, but being able to fix a ripped seam on a pair of pants or patch a hole in my hiking pack is much more cost-effective than sending something out for repair; not only is this cheaper but I don't have to go without the item for days or longer. With kids and their clothing (and toys) being able to quickly repair an item has helped keep the peace at home, since their favorite shirt can be mended and a treasured stuffed animal can be fixed as well. That brings us to this thread. For my purposes it seems to work great, with enough color variety to take care of things, an assortment of needles, and the best threader I've used (the cheap foil ones always seem to break after a few uses). The carboard box keeps things organized as well. It's a handy set to have around for crafts and household use.

    The inside width of the spool does not fit onto the top thread holder of a machine. It's very wide and flops all over. Breaks while sewing on machine also
