    Wow! So, so, so glad I ordered this set! For $7, I received 39 spools of thread in a great rainbow palette of colors! I handsew a lot of small plush and felt stuffed toys, and there isn't a single shade of fabric or felt that I have that can not be somehow closely matched to what colors came in this set! I live in the middle-of-nowhere, Northern Minnesota, and while we are lucky enough to have one craft store, I can't even imagine what I would have spent to buy this variety of colors. Plus, shipping usually takes longer to get here (seems like we still use sled dogs for delivery up in the snowy northwoods...) but I ordered this set at 3am Monday and have it, in hand, by 4pm Tuesday! Ah, the joys of Amazon Prime! Anyway, I simply can NOT agree with reviewers who docked stars for the spools "not having much thread." As a child, into my teens, I made a lot of great dresses, clothes, and costumes with my handy sewing machine, but now I find more relaxed joy in smaller sized projects stitched by hand. I realize that some projects take one or two spools of the huge quantity thread, but that is not what this product is about. There is nothing deceiving about the quantity, colors, or yardage. For about $0.20 a spool, you are receiving a pretty decent amount of thread in a variety of 39 different colors. If you are looking for the spools that have an insane amount of thread, then spend the $3-$4 per spool and be happy. I don't understand why people have unrealistic expectations of certain, great items on Amazon. Even at half the yardage on these spools, I would have been happy. You don't get something for nothing, this is already a GREAT lot of thread with a contemporary palette of solids and pastels. Just because you can't make a bridesmaids dress with a single spool of this thread, doesn't mean it isn't a great product at an amazing price.... Errr, and not to mention free, fast shipping??

    Good thread at a great price. I use five spools of matching thread with a matching bobbin-one spool for my regular machine and four for my seger, stored together in plastic bags. The cost for five spools of each color per project can really add up. This was a good way to get all the colors I needed without breaking the bank. I purchased six packs of thread and separated them into their matching colors in plastic bags with bobbins for ease of use. Five spools for the machines with one extra for just in case. Very pleased with the quality and color selection.

    Variety of colors was great, but I had A LOT of problems with the thread breaking when machine sewing... way more than any other brand I've used, and I sew a lot. Would recommend for hand stitching, the colors are vivid and there is a great variety, but it was not great for machine stitching.

    Good to have for mending. I don't know if you could get a bobbin and enough on the spool to really sew. Not the best quality but it'll do great for mending and really small jobs in

    This is a comprehensive color palette. I ordered it to sew masks in 2020 and it was ok for that. When I try to use it for quilted potholders, that’s when it’s not good. My machine sews loose-ish stitches on the bobbin side when I use this thread. As soon as I switch to quilt shop thread, my machine stitches are back to perfect. I have decided to donate this thread with a note of caution for whomever thrifts this. I am now ordering a similar color collection from Missouri Star Quilts.

    these are so pretty!! totally worth the price! you get a beautiful selection of colors and the quality is very nice!!!! the only bad thing i can think of is that im not the biggest fan of the silver and gold “thread” bc of the texture and durability but.. i didnt intend to use them anyway so A+ from me!

    Considering the times of everyone making masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19, this little gem served its purpose. The thread quality was strong and worked well with my sewing machine. The thread kept it's structure when threading a needle and changing out colors on the machine. The variety of colors was an added benefit as it help keep the masks looking fashionable and well made.
