Compatible Knitting Tools: For unruffled soft yarn for knitting, we suggest using 5mm (USA: Size 8/UK: Size 6) knitting needles and 18 Stitches x 23 Rows = 4" x 4" knit gauge. To use it as a yarn for crochet, we recommend 5.5mm (USA: Size I-9 / UK: Size 5) hooks and 12 Single Crochet x 15 Rows = 4" x 4" S crochet gauge.

    The media could not be loaded.
    I've used this yarn alot. Even people who don't crochet can feel the difference. Makes red heart feel like straw. Lots of beautiful color options. I Love This Yarn. I usually use H/8-5.00MM hook. That is what is pictured here. Excellent value. Good thickness. Lot of variety of colors to pair with it!

    The yarn works beautifully with size 8 (5mm) knitting needles. It's soft and durable, not splitty, has a nice stretch. My only 'complaint' is that the colors in the pictures are way different than what you get. It's far more white than grey. Colors are not as saturated as advertised in all 3 of the skeins I ordered.
