Very strong and seems to be slightly softer embroidery floss than the other brands.
So many colors and no repeats
They were well packaged in a vacuum sealed bag

I just bought two sets of the 136 different colors last week and both sets had numbers on them. I LOVE the Colors I received! A lot of new ones for me, in the generic floss. (I do actually have All of the DMC Floss). A word of advice, and I am an expert at this and it is No Surprise to me, as it shouldn't to anyone buying this product, This Is Not DMC Floss! I don't know why people are so surprised they didn't get DMC floss. The pictures really should tell that story..., I have never, nor will I ever expect it to match DMC or be DMC floss. They Do Not Match DMC colors in any way, shape or form. If you run out of the good ol' DMC please do not expect to buy this and continue your project, you will be mighty disappointed. It is generic and it is nice for all levels of embroidery endeavors... They really are very nice floss. I have been buying generic floss for a couple of years now. You are getting quality, and besides look at it this way just that many more colors to work with.
There were a few repeats, but not more than one or two colors. Most of the colors were different in each package. Of course I did get two of almost all the colors because I had two sets of the floss. They were packaged very neatly which is a plus. I have included pic's of the packages before I opened them. I also put them in numerical order, sorry to you who wished them to be in color order, not happening! I store my floss before and after I wrap it on bobbins, in numerical order. Easier for me to find and put back where it belongs...

My only complaint was that the labels did stick to each other and to the floss somewhat. It really was an easy fix though. You just have to have patience, and take you time pulling them apart.

Great buy!! I like the selection. Personally I’d rather more pinks than greens but it came with plenty of pink too. I payed them out by color so that you can see how many you will get by color so if you are looking for a particular color you can see it more clearly!! Good luck!!

This is a great gift for beginners and is good value for the money. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is b/c I wish it was a bit thicker like some of the other floss I have. I do recommend it for just beginners. I gave these to my 7-year-old for her projects. She loves them. Great variety of colors.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this thread. The thread is great quality, and colors are rich and varied. The thread does not get into knots as often as I've experienced with other brands, however, there is some fraying at the ends. I'm not sure why others have said it's difficult to thread into a needle...if it frays, just snip off a bit at the end and thread it!
I will say however, this is not truly 250 colors. Some colors are repeated! But I don't mind- I think the quantity and array of colors are worth the money.
The only thing I was disappointed about was the packaging. Just two plastic bags, taped together haphazardly. You definitely need some kind of sorting mechanism/organizer. I just used old wine corks I had at home to wind the few colors I was using. I've also used small zip lock bags to keep the remaining threads, grouped by similar shade.
Overall- would buy again, though I don't think I'll need to any time soon...maybe in 20 years haha
