LONG STORY SHORT:
This pencil sharpener is great. High quality, gets the pencils really sharp, plenty of room in the little collection bin for the shavings. I purchased it for use in my wood shop, might buy another for my office.
PROS:
-Sharp Pencils.
-Large shaving collection bin.
-Quiet and efficient.
CONS:
-I remember I used to have an electric pencil sharpener that, when the pencil was sharp, you could tell that, although the motor was still running, the pencil was no longer being shaved away. It sounded different, like there was a stopper internally to keep it from just going and going. This doesn't have anything like that, so if you're not careful, you could just keep grinding your pencils down to nubs. Not a huge deal, just took me a little getting used to.
CONCLUSION:
if you're looking for a reasonably priced, high quality electric pencil sharpener, look no further. This one works great.
