    I'm so happy to have discovered these wonderful and authentic Japanese Sashiko threads! The colors are vibrant and beautiful and the threads are strong and won't unravel or split. I'm currently using them to make a bedspread out of an old hand-embroidered sheet and fabric. Just a tip, using Sashiko needles (i.e. those made by Tulip Hiroshima) also made my life so much easier because they go through fabric without much effort and won't bend.

    I love the quality, colors, and how the thread is packaged on the cardboard pieces, rather than the standard embroidery loops. The thread doesn't get tangled like standard embroidery loop pieces. It's quality threads and a bit on the pricey side because not easy to find locally I suspect.

    Does not tangle or unravel. Perfect for Sashiko. Arrived quickly and the colors are as described. Like the way it is wrapped around cardboard for easy use. They come in a nice storage box. Have bought in other colors and will buy again. Highly recommend.

    i love these threads. They are a fine quality and just the right thickness to do Boro or Sashiko hand work. I prefer these to the heavier thread (which is also available) as it produces a finer look to the stitching.
    The colors are rich and lovely. I purchased all the colors a few at a time until I had them all.
