I'm new to resin crafting—this set was a great way to get started. I've made four little birds and several pendants and still have some resin left in the first (of two) bottles. You will need to supply your own molds and/or jewelry components.
A nice surprise was discovering that the bottles have a cap for the applicator tip. The UV lamp has lights on the top and both sides (and is bright enough to start curing resin set too close next to it, so be careful). The uncured resin has a nice viscosity—it pours well but is thick enough to dome easily (on appropriate surfaces/bezels) and not ooze away too quickly if you layer or don't want to fill a frame completely (but don't wait too long cure it). The uncured resin does have an odor but it is not overwhelming with good ventilation (always recommended).
A USB cable for the lamp IS included, but you will have to supply your own AC/DC adapter (regular mini port) if you want to plug it into an outlet. The lamp does not have a selectable timer but it does have auto-shutoff; mine ran about 60 secs when turned on. The silicone mixing/pouring cups are great, but the silicone stirring tools are almost too flimsy to be practical; they are easy to clean and reuse, however, just cure them and pop off any leftover resin.
I've had so much fun I've already spent three times the cost of the kit buying molds and frames to use with it...
