5.0 out of 5 stars Good starter rack. Do not get if a majority of your paints are Citadel.
Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2024
I have mostly Vallejo paints with a few Citadel containers so this rack was perfect for me.

You have slots for 52 Vallejo sized containers and 8 Citadel sized containers.
Other reviews mentioned the paint brush slots being too small but I did not have an issue with this.

Construction was quite easy. The plastic support tabs were a bit finicky so make sure they lock in properly. You should hear a click.

Once assembled it is quite sturdy. When taking out the parts you might think it's going to be flimsy but it is supported in all the right spots by the end.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for holding paints!

This is a very affordable option to organize your paints.

As a miniature painter, you will eventually get an insane amount of paints, and you will need a place to organize them. This product meets that need perfectly.

The instructions are clear and easy to understand. The pegs slot in very well, and are easily held in place. No screws or glue is needed, and the end result is very sturdy.

You can see three examples of the product above filled with different kind of paint. It looks good and does its job well.

I recommend this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for the price
Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2024
Cheap MDF, easy to put together, looks nice, standard Army Painter or Vallejo bottles fit perfectly. The paint brush spots are too small for most my brushes but I just drilled out the holes to make it work, drilling it out rips the laminate so it doesn't look pretty but works, can't beat it the price. If you're just looking for a cheap simple organizer for your paints this works perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Useless (out of box), but 100% adaptable :)
Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2023
As you can see in the attached pictures: out of the box in my case it was mostly useless. Let me explain why.

Right out of the box one can see the stand will not really fit Citadel paints except one single row, which is not much. Otherwise it will only hold small containers from Vallejo or Warpaint; I don't have much of those. Additionally none of my brushes fit the slots (srsly, only 3 brushes out of all I have could fit), so these small brush holes are useless. So overall it was somewhat a disappointment, however...

Right from the very beginning I knew the price is a bargain, so I said, let's give it a try. I knew the stand is horizontal (and somewhat takes lots of space), but TBH, from the very beginning I was hoping to have it placed vertically. Seeing the whole arrangement was somewhat useless, I did grab my Dremel and as you can see in the pictures I cut through the holes. With every cut it made me happier! :)

The end product, after Dremel cuts and changes, is standing vertically with more paints that initially the stand could handle. TBH, I am thinking to buy more of these and have them hang on the wall. After those modifications, the vertical hang is very compact(!) and can really stand the test. Sturdy whatever way you look at it, even after multiple cuts. Also no trouble with clips, all in order, fit really well. Otherwise good buy!

I would buy again. The price is a must try. Overall: I do recommend this product. I will be buying another one.

A quick review to be quickly lost in the pile. I bought this rack - actually, two of them – because it is sized for the paints I use most often. It went together quickly without any head scratching. Sure, some wiggle, but nothing is going to collapse so long as you have the plastic clips engaged.

Paints that I use that fit the 52 holes: AK Interactive, Vallejo, Micro-Mark, Scale Color. I would imagine any paints in 17 - 20ml dropper bottles will fit.

Paints that I use that don’t fit: Mission Models, Pro Acryl, Citadel, Tamiya, craft store paints, Badger paints, Polly Scale, and all the obviously larger bottles from who ever the mfr.

There are other bottle racks on Amazon that fit these bottles. One looks just like this Amazon Basics rack.

A note on the paint brush holes. Do NOT put a wet paintbrush on end. Dry them hanging bristles down or flat. You can store DRY paintbrushes in the holes along the top of this rack. You might have to ream out the holes a bit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks nice, easy build

Pretty easy to put together, but not the most sturdy thing in the world. Doesn't have to be, to hold paint and brushes. I'm actually using it to hold my collection of wax seals; the holes are the right size, and now I can see all my options instead of rummaging around in a box for them.

4.0 out of 5 stars A nice addition for expanding my paint range.

I use this product to hold my new airbrush paints. A little tricky to assemble, but I managed to do so. It appears to be sturdy, but the plastic clips furnished with the kit seem rather flimsy. Once put together, it would be wise to glue the attachment points to improve strength. The construction material seems a little less robust than larger kits, but the price was reasonable and so far I am happy with this purchase.
