I bought these to secure a storage unit in my truck on backseat floor. Attached one piece to carpet on floor and the other to the storage unit which is like a polyurethane material. Cut one piece in half to make 2 ~6 inch strips to attach to each side of the storage container. I didn’t need both full strips. So I have another 12 inch strip to use for something else if I need it. Hold is pretty good just using one full strip cut in half. By itself the strength of the Velcro is good. The adhesive part also holds well to the material, even the carpet. But until I fill the storage and there is weight in the unit, the hold is just okay. I can easily move the item as is. Once there is ample weight I expect it will hold much better. Serves the purpose needed and worth the buy at the price.

Just got this today. I wanted to attach my small lumbar pillow to my back pillow. They are the best comfort I have found for my office chair but they wouldn't stay in place. They will now!

It comes off after like ten minutes. Tried it on different fabrics, the adhesive doesn't stay.

You have to sew/glue it on. You can get versions made for sewing/glueing for much cheaper than this. Only reason to buy this is the adhesive, and the adhesive doesn't work, soo.... can't recommend
