Chains are stainless, clasps are not...

I love how the chain extenders are discrete, sturdy and that the color of the chain remains gold even in the shower. My only complaint is that the clasps change to the silver color of the stainless steel while the chain remains gold so they're inherently mismatched. I pay close attention to detail so this bothered me and I searched for the product that I had from another company that didn't do the mismatch of colors.

I accidentally shocked the clasp off my necklace. Would have had to ship it back to the jewelry store in new york that I originally got it from to get it repaired. The smallest size of these ended up being perfect to attach to the chain and close the necklace again.

Thin and not really impressive, but my hair should be long enough to cover them on the back of my neck...I hope. They are inexpensive, and truly they do look like it--but as long as they hold up then they ought to be OK, TBH I was just too cheap to go to an actual jeweler and purchase some. Maybe this year I will splurge on some actual gold and sterling extenders! I guess (and hope) for the $$ they'll do the job.
