If you have hundreds of photos that you would like to display, this is the book you want. This is my third book like this, and I try to find ways to make each one better. Here are some ways to help make the book more interesting.
Try to orient the horizontal and vertical photos so that you don’t have to turn the book sideways to look at them.
If you have a photo editing program, you can take a full single horizontal photo, and size it as a 12” X 20” photo. Then you can crop that photo into ten 4” X 6” photos that will cover two full pages. (See photo.)
A vertical photo can be made into a 12” X 10” photo, then you can crop that photo into five 4” X 6” photos that will cover one page. (See photo.)
I also like to include created photos with typed information about the photos on the surrounding pages. This helps to remember information years later.
The one complaint that I (and many others) have about the book is the clasp that holds the front cover closed and gets caught on the first couple of pages, causing the pages to get damaged. I have fixed this by putting a piece of black duct tape over the clasp. If they would redesign the clasp, that would be great.
