5.0 out of 5 stars So soft
Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2024
It’s so soft and the perfect weight for baby blankets. I loved it in a different color so I bought this one for another project. My only complaint is that it can be a little wonky to deal with because it separates easier than other yarn I’ve worked with. It was worth the teensy bit of added stress because everything else is so lovely.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soft and smooth! Not irritating

I don’t usually write reviews but I really love this yarn, however there are two caveats : It is somewhat difficult to foundation crochet with due to some mild yarn splitting (then again FC is not my strong suit. the WHITE color way was nearly impossible to chain without splitting every time so I gave up, but Slate and other color ways like blue/purple have worked out fine). Secondly, bamboo fibers retain moisture quite WELL if you decide to wet block. Takes a while to dry and ended up using a blow dryer on cool to prevent felting. I began using Truboo a few years ago when I became a more intermediate crocheter and love the texture of the product it works up — So soft and smooth and not like traditional acrylics or wools that tend to irritate my skin. Quite thin if you’re looking to SC but worth it IMO. Love!

5.0 out of 5 stars Super soft!

Now I'll admit I didnt pay enough attention to the yarn size in the description when I bought it I just saw the color and thought," This is the shade I need for the project I have in mind!!" Then proceeded to buy what I thought I would need based on the yardage alone ( yes I realize now how terrible of an idea that was.)
Luckily for me after swatching and checking the gauge I should still have enough for my project.

The yarn is on the smaller side, but that is already in the description. It's SOFT. The fabric you end up making when knitting especially is so nice and drapey and the color gives off this light sheen that is just So NICE. I'll definitely be buying this again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Lilac but a beautiful light silvery blue
Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2024
It’s always a risk when buying strictly for the color you see on your screen but that’s a risk one takes when buying off the internet. I would definitely not call this Lilac but it is certainly a lovely shade of silver and when the light hits it just right, it becomes a light silvery blue. If you are buying with hopes that this is a lavender lilac color, it is not. It’s a beautiful quality and a lovely soft textured yarn though and I do want to order more to make a bigger blanket! Something else I do love about this yarn is the lightness of the weight. It’s not heavy at all and will make a beautiful lightweight blanket for my babies this summer. Acrylic yarn tends to be heavier, more stiff, a bit course, and certainly warmer but this is a silky, soft, cotton-esque texture and so beautiful!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great yarn but costs $14 or less per 3-pack with coupons at Michael's
Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2023
A word of friendly advice - this yarn is much cheaper at Michael's and on the Michael's website. There is often a 20% off coupon for full priced items on Michael's and I've been getting it for around $4 per skein. Michael's has free shipping on orders of $49 or more.

That being said, this yarn is super soft and the colors are beautiful. It splits easily because it's plant based but I find metal needles (size 6) help to navigate through the stitches more precisely and with less friction. It is very slippery yarn so can be a bit frustrating to get used to at first. But the fabric you make with it is silky soft and has a nice drape.

5.0 out of 5 stars It’s a personal choice
Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2023
I love/hate this yarn. It is very stringy so the yarn separates easily when trying to get the needle through it, which can be annoying, but the yarn is also very soft and it’s beautifully. It’s one of my favorites.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best yarn for crochet clothing
Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2024
I've tried all types of yarn, brands, textures, price, but this is my favorite. It's soft, pliable, easy to use, works very well for making clothing. Right now I'm crocheting a hexagonal cardigan with this yarn and it's a pleasure to work with.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very Soft & Silky
Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2023
Truboo is a really soft yarn. I bought it to make a crochet sweater and it has a great hang to it. My main issue with the yarn is that it is constantly splitting. It makes crocheting with it difficult and slow. However the end result is worth it. I'm going to buy this yarn again but in another color.
