My daughter lives to create and make things. It has everything she asked for all in one and also with a bag to put it all away.

For the price the value is great! My only issues were the bagpack being made of an easy to tear material and that the eyes are not the screw ins but only able to be attached via the hot glue gun. Otherwise the variety of yarn, and instruments to use while learning are fantastic.

Definitely not for beginners. Tutoring video is very hard to follow in parts which gets very frustrating. In one part talking about using hot wax to put on eyes. This did not come with the kit and they don’t explain it in the video. The video on the panda eyes and ears is all over the place and extremely hard to follow. This would be better for people that have some experience in crochet. The pink hedgehog yarn was so cheap and thin I couldn’t work with it and threw it away.

Was expecting the yarn to be cheap but it was really soft like baby yarn. Love everything but the counter doesnt work the way i though you have to self turn it just seems easier to count it. But other than that awesome kit would greatly reccomend.

I got this in hopes of teaching myself how to crochet with what was provided, and I'm having nothing but problems. First off, in spite of its claims that the fabric doesn't fork, the pink yarn for the hedgehog absolutely does, and it does so badly. Secondly, the green, black, and white yarn that is included is not at all beginner friendly--it's slick and slides very easily off of the hook. The manuals and user guides are, effectively, useless. These are meant for someone who already knows how to do these things. This is very good if you're someone who's already experienced with reading patterns and how to do basic stitches. It does not educate users on different hook sizes or which hook goes with which yarn (to save you the headache, the blue hook is meant for everything but the pink yarn, which requires the orange. Do not bother using the orange hook for anything BUT the pink yarn), it does not specify the materials the yarn is made of ANYWHERE. Not at all something I'd recommend if you're a true beginner who has no idea what you're doing, and honestly I'm not even sure it's worth the cost of the materials. Which is very sad, I was looking forward to making a frog but that's going to have to be put off for quite a while until I teach myself how to do this because this set is useless in teaching you.

Zero complaints! The bag has grommets in the side that are perfect for feeding yarn through to crochet on the go. The hooks are quality. The little kit has been super helpful while making little creatures. The glue gun is awesome. The yarn is great for learning, with quite a bit of color variety that I appreciated. A little over a month, 10 mini creatures in, and I still have yarn to use. I'm sure I'll add and replace things eventually but to start this is great!
