The markers are really easy to use. Nice color options. Drew on nicely. They did run out after a lot of use, but they lasted long. I really liked it. They are so good I am rebuying them for a friend. I recomend them for any artist looking for good quality cheep markers.

I loved the price point and variety of colors. I wish that more of the colors were highly pigmented. Still a great option for beginners who don't want to invest in the best markers.

I'd never used alcohol based markers before, and wanted to find a decent set to try. For the price, this is unbeatable! I made a swatch page for every color (some of them came out completely differently than I expected, which makes the swatch invaluable). I love that each marker is two-sided and has a narrow/rounded end and a wide chisel end. Both end caps are also labeled, so it doesn't matter how you put them back in the bin. The colors blend fairly well (see picture of the dragon I colored in). The do bleed through a bit, but as long as you put something underneath it's not a problem. My only minor complaint is that the carry bag is flimsy with no structure - I just cut some cardboard and put it on the bottom & sides and that fixed the issue!

All in all, an excellent started set for alcohol based markers!

I got these for a project I'm doing, and they are a great value for the price. Some of the color names are a bit confusing, but a wide variety of choices, and if you know how to use or set up a palette, it's awesome.

The only thing I will say, is don't let your kid use them without showing them how to use them. With alcohol markers, you don't want to press down hard, and you want to keep an even, slow speed on wide swaths of color... So, when my wife let our 6 year old - who's admittedly pretty talented for her age - go nuts with them, I came back home to find 30 pages of colorful drawings of cupcakes and fruits with their names, and motivational statements like, "You Are Enough!" or "You Are Beautiful!" Aww. But grr. But also, aww.

Unfortunately, all that used up a substantial amount of ink, and since she went at it with the speed and intensity of, well, a six year old with a pack of Crayola markers, the tips on about half of them are worn and don't flow evenly anymore. Sigh. At least the set is cheap enough I can let her keep this one and order another. For the ones I've used, I haven't noticed any issues. I attached a picture of a page from her Chibi coloring book I did with her to show her how to use them (it's copy paper and the alcohol inks did a number on it but still looks ok).

3.0 out of 5 stars Inaccurate colors and Bleeding
Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2024
These markers are great. I love coloring, it soothes me but up until this point I only used Crayola markers. So I was excited for these! They blend great but I do have a couple minor complaints! They are difficult to open, and I noticed that sometimes they splatter when opened. They bleed through so when using I would recommend an extra couple pages under the page you are coloring. Also, the colors on the packaging are pretty inaccurate to the actual color. They also have a weird smell to them.
