I have lost a substantial amount of weight. I wear a size 6 ring now. Two of my favorite rings are now too large. One ring is a size 7, and the other is a size 9. The smaller adjuster is perfect for the size 7. The larger adjuster is perfect for the size 9. They are easy to affix to the rings and are comfortable to wear. A much cheaper alternative to a jeweler sizing the rings.

This little thing really did what I needed. My engagement ring is about a half size too big now and I was scared all the time that it would slip off my finger. I tried this until I can get it sized down, and it worked perfectly.

I love this product! Quality flexible material that is clear colored. It’s very easy to use! Choose the correct width ring guard to place on your ring. The first one I put on fell off, it was too small for my 14k gold ring band. I tried another one that was a hair bigger than the ring band. It snapped on easily and it fits perfectly. It stays on the ring nicely. No scratches! I use to wear a size 5 ring and cannot get it over my knuckle, now I have a size 6 ring on my wedding ring finger and now it does go over my knuckle. Before it was so loose and spun around. This ring guard is perfect! It made my ring stay on my finger comfortably! I’d say it’s about half a size tighter now. My ring does not spin around anymore and it works great! My diamond stays on top of my finger and it looks really nice with this product! Thank you!

Not good for fidget rings

I've lost a lot of weight in the past year, and my fingers have inconsistently lost between a quarter and a full ring size. Before I spend good money to resize/replace rings that no longer fit, I wanted to try inexpensive resizers.

These aren't *bad* per se. But I'm disappointed with them in a number of specifics.

My first disappointment is with how much the clips protrude from the ring. The plastic is thick enough that it easily doubles the functional thickness of the ring along the edges it's clipped to. This can be quite uncomfortable in some situations.

Second is the actual size reduction compared to what's claimed. The listing claims 0.5 to 1 size reduction. That's overly generous. Based on my own measurements, the actual reduction is a little less than half a size. And you can't "stack" them or adjust them, so that's all you're going to get.

Third is the general unsuitability for use on fidget spinner rings, of which I have a half dozen in a variety of styles. The coiled style obviously would interfere with any spinner, so I went with the rigid clip style. Unfortunately, the overlap of the clip is such that only half of my rings can still spin with the clip on.

Fourth: One of the rings I needed adjusted is my wedding ring. After nearly three decades of constant wearing of that ring, that finger has developed a sizable divot where the ring sits. Even my weight loss hasn't changed the depth of the divot compared to the skin alongside it. The problem is that the resizer reduces the size enough to make it tight to get the ring on and off, but not enough to keep it from being loose enough to spin on its own. Remember what I said earlier about the protrusion of the clip? With the ring still able to spin around my finger, the protruding side of the clip refuses to stay on the palm side. This is both uncomfortable and unsightly.

The upshot is that while these resizers technically do what they claim in general, they're just not suitable for what I need. Back to the drawing board.

Ring sizer that works!

This ring sizer really worked, I was skeptical but it did the job. My husband’s wedding ring was so loose, due to weight loss, that it fell off (while he was sleeping, what a stroke of luck). He wrapped tape on his ring for a few days until the ring sizers arrived. Very easy to use, he says it’s very comfortable.

Snug fit for my skinny fingers

This was the perfect thing to make my ring fit snuggly on my finger. When it's cold outside, my fingers get skinny and when it's hot, they swell up so I wanted something that was easy to put on and take off. This size adjuster works great. I could cut it to the size I wanted and thread it on to my ring. It's hardly noticeable when I'm wearing the ring and comfortable enough to wear 24/7. When my fingers swell up again, I can just take it off.

I'm losing weight and didn't want get my ring resized just yet, this helped so much. My ring was always sliding upside down but now it stays right side up. I appreciate how you can custom cut the length of the spacer just right for your ring. It comes in a long strip and you cut it to the size you want.
