Wonderful for beginners!

The box set included everything advertised. I have some experience with crafts like this (cross stitching, sewing by hand), but nothing to this extent. The printed booklet is very thorough and helpful even if you don’t have experience with needle and thread (or embroidery floss, which is what you use for this). Some of the more basic stitches were easy to accomplish with the printed directions, but for some of the more complicated ones I needed to watch a video. The booklet includes a QR code that takes you to their YouTube playlist with videos for everything you could possibly need to watch for the process. The videos I watched were easy to follow.

The cloth with the printed stitches is nice and sturdy, as is the included hoop. I thoroughly enjoyed using this kit to learn the various stitches for hand embroidery.

This is a great kit for beginners or a refresher for those like me who are getting back into embroidery after many years.
Very nice quality and the accompanying videos are excellent. The choice of music for the videos is soothing and makes the learning experience relaxing.

I am a total beginner with zero experience. I got a kit at a store and was severely confused and the YouTube videos I looked up didn’t help me and I had no idea what I was doing. I found this kit and now I feel like I know what I’m doing! The video tutorials are so simple and fool proof, the physical instruction manual is very helpful and easy to understand, the quality of the fabric is soooo nice and it comes with tons of threads and needles and some scissors and a cute needle threader and another helpful tool. I’ve only done a little bit, but this is a great purchase for any beginners or if you’re looking to learn some new stitches!

I wanted to learn to cross stitch so I bought this kit and I'm glad I did. I love how everything you need is included and I especially love the easy to access YouTube videos that give you very clear instructions on the stitches (who knew making a knot at the end of your thread could be so simple!!). The one thing I wish was different is the material included. I wish they had included real cross stitch material with the tiny holes and not the canvas that is included which is somewhat dense. The tiny holes of real cross stitch material seem like they would be helpful in where to place your needle and since some stitches require six stands of thread, pulling those through the canvas can be difficult. Otherwise, great kit and well worth the money.

This is a really nice kit that has all the materials you need to learn many different embroidery stitches. The included pictures, instructions, and videos are comprehensive. I didn't notice until after I started that one of my fabrics had a misprint. Parts of 17, 19, and 20 are missing, and 18 is completely missing (see photo). But with the photos and instructions in the booklet I think I can still complete them.

This was a great starter kit for beginners. Very user friendly due to the kit including EVERYTHING you need to start- the needles, color thread, tools- it’s all included. Comes with 4 different practice sheets along with wooden hoop. Very easy to follow instruction booklet along with a link for YouTube videos to follow. Amazing value for cost of product.

I crochet but have never tried embroidery. I was debating between this one and another company but this is the perfect kit. It comes with everything you need and i personally chose it because it comes with videos that are very helpful and straightforward as well as a book with all the info in it.

Very Good Kit for the Price

The last time I did any embroidery was about 35 years ago. I want to decorate a wall in my new house with small embroidery pictures. But first I need to brush up my skills and learn all the new stitches. So I got this kit. I really like it and am learning a lot.
There are just a couple of things that could be done better. The needles are all one size. They are ok for using 2 or 3 strands of floss, but there is no way all 6 strands will fit through that little eye. It would be better if the needle pack was assorted sizes. I just bought my own needles for a couple bucks. Problem solved. The third set of stitches that are printed on the fabric don’t match the list of stitches that is printed in the book. That seemed a little confusing at first, but I don’t think it will be an issue when I get to page 3. The pictures all match the fabric, and the videos all match.
The fabric is really nice, and the print on the fabric is clear and easy to follow. The floss that is provided is decent quality. I haven’t had any issues with it tangling or knotting up when I separate the plies. The scissors that came with the kit are children’s round ended small scissors. They would be good if this kit was going to be used by a child. I left them in the box and am using regular embroidery scissors. The seam ripper is a nice touch. I haven’t had to use it yet. I am just finishing up embroidery fabric 1. The needle threader seems sturdy. I am careful to make sure the eye on my needle is big enough to accommodate the threads so the threader isn’t unduly stressed.
When you consider how inexpensive this kit is and the amount of work that went into developing the program and making the videos, it is definitely worth the price. If I took a class to learn embroidery it would cost a whole lot more than this kit, and I would have to purchase my own supplies. I am so glad I found this on Amazon. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn embroidery.
