The quality is good. The thread is thick and will not go through most of the needle eyes. That was a challenge.

We actually purchased this to repair our dogs supposedly "indestructible" plush dog toys. Works great and holds better than manufacturers sticking. Also like the several included needle options.

I bought this kit to repair curtains that are ceiling-height and have a lot of weight. They keep popping off the regular thread used to sew them to the rings. This little kit was perfect, I used a small pair of pliers to hold the curved needles and just sewed the curtains back onto the rings using this (very sturdy) thread. Very pleased with this purchase.

I usually get my awl heavy thread at a hobby house but I saw these online and I could not tell what size they were. Very pleased when they showed up and I open the package. It was a complete set of heavy, upholstery, sewing needles, and three huge spools of three different colored thread, I will never have to buy anymore the rest of my life, for around nine dollars
