I recently got into knitting and use these threads specifically to connect two skeins together. I have not used it for anything else so I can't say much outside of this specific application. However, the color spread has been really good, if there Isn't an exact match in here, there's one close enough that you won't be able to see the thread. The strength seems great and the texture is nice, it Isn't coarse enough to get caught on itself etc.
The case is compact and easy to store, it's also transparent enough to see if you have the color you need on deck or if any spools are running low. Given how compact it is, it IS packed pretty tight. I have big hands and had to use one of my needles to fish out a spool, but that's not a big issue.
This does not come with any needles or anything. Not a sewing kit, just the thread.
It was easy to secure my thread when I was done using it as the spools have small slits on one edge that you can fasten your loose thread to.
