Used this for a fox lovey. Perfect reddish-orange color for fall projects. Super soft. Does fluff off the string easily so it can't be used for magic circles. You can use crocheting into a chain as a work-around though. I did have done issues with the yarn snapping while sewing pieces together.

The yarn is beautifulr! I now understand why this brand is highly recommended! I took off a star because when I was opening up the vaccuum seal, the product was water damaged. Not sure how but it seemed like it was water damaged before they vaccuum sealed it. Other than that the yarn was fine and high quality!

I bought this because it was beautiful and soft and this was for a paid customer as well. The yarn falls apart. Not very good quality at all. Now I've lost money on this project and still have to buy more yarn to finish the job.

This yarn is so soft and easier to work with than some velvet yarns. I used a 4.5 and 5mm crochet hook and it worked great! Well worth the money.

Frays a lot and hard to work with

I used this yarn for an Amigurumi project. It was difficult to work with because it didn’t glide smoothly over the hook and it frayed so much that I couldn’t sew the pieces together without it completely falling apart. The texture is soft, but I couldn’t wait to finish the project because I was so frustrated with it. I know most velvet and chenille yarn frays a little bit, but this was nuts. There was even a really long stretch of yarn directly off the roll that had five or six frayed sections that I had to cut off. I’ve experienced this with several skeins, so it wasn’t just this one. I would return them but it’s not worth the hassle and I’ve already used some of it. Not a fan. Wouldn’t recommend.
