This is a nice kit that would make a great present for a preteen. The beads are not made from ceramic clay but from polymer clay. This is much better because the natural clay beads tend to break. These beads are very sturdy. There was not one broken bead in the whole package.
The beads are very solid and smooth. The organizer tray divides the beads - with the lid on. Be sure to lay the box flat when you open the lid. All the necessary tools to make small bracelets or necklaces are included. A small pair of scissors, stretchy thread, and tweezers. I would like to have seen a small pair of needle-nosed pliers to work with the small findings. The findings are very small and hard to work with. The charms are super cute.
