I made a small blanket for one of my kids with this yarn and he never takes it off, he wears it like a cape, so I bought more and I'm making him a bigger blanket. So easy to work with. 9mm hook, single crochet across till you find the width, then turn your work, half double crochet in the second stitch from the hook, then half double across, turn your work, chain two, half double across, and repeat. Beautiful blanket.

I have never tried to crochet a blanket before because I always figured they would take way to long. This chunky yarn comes together so quickly and only took me about 6 hours to make (We won't talk about the time used having to restart because of an tension issue). I will say I was surprised on how easy it was to frog when I had to fix a mistake, there was no shedding and I didn't have any issues with how the material looked when re-crocheting. It was so nice to work with that I have already ordered more from another seller as the Amazon price went up significantly from when I previously ordered it which is why I only gave the review 4 stars.

Soft thick yarn that builds quickly for making blankets. Make sure you pay attention to hook/needle recommendation as it's hard to work with if you use too small a hook. Made this blanket for my son in two days.

I bought this thinking it would be bigger but really didn't want it to be. It's the perfect size for me to hand knit/crochet a blanket for my granddaughters. I am going to make 5 by Christmas. They are not going to be perfect but they will cherish them since I made them for each one. It's very soft and the pattern I am using (from YouTube) makes it nice and thick.

Update: Here is one blanket finished. It's not perfect, but my grandchildren will love it because I made it!!
