    I’m just starting out, and this yarn makes it so much easier! It sounds corny, but I was compelled to write a review since I have tried other yarn that wasn’t as good. In fact, other yarn kind of made me hate the craft. So what’s good about this stuff? It’s thick and easy to see and tell what’s going on. It doesn’t fray into a billion little pieces (I’m looking at you, wool!!!!), and the stitches being easy to see makes following patterns easier. It seems expensive perhaps compared to other beginner yarn, but if you check how much you’re getting, you’re getting more than 4x as much per yarn skein than some other ones. As a bonus, it’s soft.

    It comes in lots of colors, which is great, and I have it on every color for different projects. The only negative thing I have to say about it at all is that there aren’t made shades per color (I.e. only one blue instead of a pale blue and navy blue).

    However, if you’re interested in the beginner crochet kits, too, it is worth pointing out that the Woobles kits are INFINITELY SUPERIOR to other intro kits. Having tried a variety, I can say that the videos’ clarity, help functions, and variety of projects FAR outscores their counterparts. They’re cute, and the video instructions really are a huge game-changer. The only reason I could do some of those other “beginner kits” is because I saw a particular move in a Wooble video first.

    I wish the Wooble company also had instructional kits for headbands and other things too. I cannot overstate how good they are.

    But back to the yarn — I have had to re-do projects in THIS yarn just for it to come out well. I should have bought more of this yarn to start with.

    The softness is good, and the size is respectably large. The color is a beautiful yellow, perfect for crocheting ducks. Durability is 20/10, it is very hard to break, and is very sturdy, which is great for beginners. The material on the inside is made out of thin stuffing instead of just yarn, which makes it easier to see stitches and make stitches, overall, material is great. Definitely recommend for my absolute beginner & beginners.

    I enjoy the feel of this yarn. It was easy to use to knit. I knit a wash cloth and it feels soft, yet able to use to wipe things off. It's a good quality item and the packaging was perfect. It was easy to open and had very little packaging. Graphics on the label were eye catching and appealing.

    I just started croshet, and this year is so nice. I am able to see my stitches very easily. This product is expensive, and there is definitely cheaper yarn, but buying this yearn has made practicing my stitching much easier.

    I didn’t know this when I bout the yarn, but it’s made up of two parts. There is an interior fabric that makes up the core, and an outer layer that is woven from the desired color, kind of like a shoe lace. (I bought another spool in a different color). This does mean that the ends look a bit ugly when cut, but once you weave them in, they are unnoticeable, so it doesn’t bother me much. What is nice is that because there are two layers, there is practically no fuzz that blocks your view of your stitches, making it very easy to work with.

    Over all this yarn is very easy to work with and worked very well for a beginner like me. I definitely recommend it to anyone new to croshet.

    I would highly recommend this yarn for beginners. I just started knitting and was experiencing some frustration with “traditional” yarn because it kept coming apart, but this material does not do that. It’s not as soft, but it’s nice! Seems good for crochet projects, like stuffed animals maybe.

    This is the best yarn, especially for beginner crocheters like me. It does not split or snag on your hook, and is so easy to see/count stitches. It makes learning so much easier. And I love the finished look of it too! It's not wooly or scratchy, so it's perfect for little cute amigurumi animals (especially for my kids).
