    It makes holes in the fabric and didn’t even work. The plastic ties wouldn’t latch onto the fabric and then it left big holes. I do not recommend this item.

    I bought this for my mother and we spent the afternoon tagging half of her wardrobe:) this is very effective at altering and "tailoring" clothing temporarily. My mother has very narrow, small shoulders, but wants to hide her stomach so she buys clothing a bit large. because of this, most of her shirts gape on her shoulder and shower her bra and undershirts, fall to one side, or show too much in the front. We've been able to gather and pleat the fronts of many blouses and tag them with this tool and it's like custom tailoring in a flash! The tool does damage the material or alter anything permanently so you have the option to go back to the original garment.

    The directions on the packaging are clear, it's easy to use and comes with many refills on the "stitches". One tip, be careful with the needles! They are very, very sharp and I stick myself more than once. they will draw blood so be careful and put the protective tip back on after using it!

    These are hard plastic and hurt/scratch against your skin. I do not recommend this for clothes

    It never worked. I tried so hard to get it to work but it wouldn’t. It was very cheaply made. I returned it.
