I started with Artist Loft pencils which are a little hard and lack nice rich colors but were okay to start. I later added a couple of small sets of Prismacolors which gave me some nicer colors and a softer, more blendable medium compared to Artist Loft. They're somewhat pricey so I was limited in color choices plus they broke a lot even though i handled them with great care. This hige set is incredible! The textures are wonderfully creamy and the colors are gorgeous! I'm still working on the included color chart so haven't started actually working with them but... I like these way better than Prismacolor! They're smooth and easy to create saturated colors. The colors are gorgeous and I'm having no breakage! As others have mentioned, there is a tiny bit of crumbs but not enough to be troublesome. I dont think I'd have noticed if others hadnt brought it up. My favorite coloring book is the history of fashion and has beautiful illustrations of clothing and accessories crying out for gorgeous, rich colors. I'd been mixing sometimes 4 and 5 colors to create shadows in folds, etc. I just didn't have enough colors. This set is going to make coloring sooo much easier and more fun with all the basic colors plus many, many others. I really liked Prismacor but so far I LOVE these pencils WAY more! The case is better than I expected. Elastic holds pencils well, the padding is very adequate and zipper works well. I took these in my luggage on a recent trip to Mexico and they traveled perfectly. A color chart template sheet, which has the names and rectangles to color in is included, but the colors are listed in the order in which the pencils come in the case. They're pretty random so after I finish this one, I'm going to create another chart with similar pencils grouped together to make it easier to find shade variations. An experienced artist may be able to find something negative with these but I think they'd be hard pressed. I still can't believe my good fortune in finding these pencils AND a great case for this small price!

These are the worst colored pencils I have ever bought. First time sharpening them, they just break. Sharpen more, they break. Over and over. I had to throw away 80% of them before I could even use them. I thought maybe it was my pencil sharpener, so I used my two others. Same result. I
bought a new sharpener, thinking mine might be dull, same result. I bought cheap colored pencils to test my sharpeners, they sharpened just fine. The case is great, sturdy and convenient, so I guess I just bought an expensive pencil case.

Update: I left a review based on the colored pencils. After the review had posted, the seller contacted me to see what they could do to make it right. I am now giving them 5 stars, due to their customer service. They were very nice and apologetic for the quality of the pencils, and without me requesting a refund, they refunded my purchase.

The lead in these is soft enough to color well with but not so soft it gets used quickly. They didn’t come fully sharpened they all had a blunt tip. Some of the colors don’t match the name so having the sheet to color is helpful. And some of the names don’t make sense like “durple grey” or “group of dragon head”. But overall I’m stratified. I haven’t used the extras but I bought this mostly for the colored pencils.

The media could not be loaded.
 I really like this set of colored pencils. It came very well packaged and only 1 pencil had a broken tip. No problem the, I just sharpened it again. It has three sketching pencils, an eraser pencil, a colorless mixed pencil (blending pencil?), and it looks like some charcoal pencils in three densities (soft, medium and hard). The case is sturdy, and the zipper works well. It comes with a sketch-book with 20 sheets A5 size, a lovely color chart, and a coloring book. See the flip-through video.
The ONLY issue is that I'm missing the Dark Green (#102) and I have 2 Verdure Green pencils (#100).
