5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Color
Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2024
I was first drawn to this yarn by the beautiful colors. I don’t see this shade of red often and I thought it would make a lovely cardigan. The yarn is soft and nice to work with, but I do caution that it is very thin. I purchased it when it was on a flash sale and some at regular price, so I would consider it to be a good value in terms of quantity and price. The yarn also arrived in good condition and on time. I would recommend buying the amount of yarn you need for your project to avoid color issues down the road.

This yarn is 100% quality cotton. It was consistent color throughout and was easy and comfortable to knit up into a medley of baby hats, sweaters and booties.

4.0 out of 5 stars Soft and works up easily but color inconsistent
Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2024
Overall I do like this yarn and some batches seem to have better consistency than others but as you can see in my photos, the second skein I joined in from the same bag was super patchy - like it was plied together poorly. There were some areas that had no heathering and some where the thread for heathering had piled up.

Pros:
1. Cost effective
2. Soft
3. Machine washable
4. Works up to have a lovely drape both knitting and crocheting

Cons:
1. Color inconsistencies in the same batch
2. Some batches have knots while others don’t and it seems to be a bit of a shot in the dark

I think for summer tops and stuff, this is a great option in terms of cost, color range, and final fabric, I just wish the color consistency in a single pack was more even.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great yarn and fair price.

I wanted some good DK yarn that wouldn’t break the bank and this was perfect. Someone mentioned in the comments it was thinner than DK and more like thread but not what I received. Thread yarn is much thinner than this yarn. This is soft pretty DK and it works up great. No issues.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bittersweet

You get a star for color! Super cute .. you get a star for softness. And, you get a star for a surprising amount of yarn in one small skein. But, you lost a star for the odd, thin sections you run into while crocheting. I had to stop what I'm doing and cut the yarn then knot it together again. Just very inconvenient. (That was the fifth star.) I just hope its durable enough for a baby blanket.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely soft and the amount is AS DESCRIBED!
Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2024
I noticed a lot of reviewers felt they didn't receive the amount of yarn that was described and I would like to state that THIS YARN IS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED. Each ball is 50 grams and 142 yards. There are 6 balls in the package. The yarn is very light and soft. To help others, I've added photos of one ball wound into a cake and one wound into a hank/skein to show the "size". In winding these two balls, I encountered only one factory knot and one large slub (thicker part of yarn). I think this is acceptable, as most yarns have at least one knot or defect per ball. I haven't worked with it yet, but the feel of this yarn is very soft with a lovely fuzzy halo. I can't wait to work with it. I will update this review if needed after use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soft and easy

I am using it for Tunisian crochet and couldn't decide on a stitch so I kept unraveling and starting again. No problems with that at all. I do not crochet with a lot of tension so that may be part of it. But I've had other yarn that is a nightmare to unravel and leaves yarn splitting. One person said theirs was full of knots, I've seen none and another said it kept breaking. You can break it and maybe if you use a lot of tension it will break when you don't want it to. Anyway it's not horribly expensive and I'd suggest people give it a try. Great for when you need something soft yet not fluffy. I don't like fluffy for Tunisian.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very pretty color
Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2024
The six skeins of yarn are not very big. I was using it for placemats that I crocheted and had to supplement with a different yarn in a different color to finish 4. It is very soft but also a little difficult to work with. The watermelon color was the closest color I could find to "Nantucket Red" so that was great! A little bit more than I would normally spend for this amount of yarn but comprable to my local knitting shops prices.
