    May be challenging for this beginner but the kit has everything included that I need to jump right in and make something beautiful. Great value for a fun project. Colors included match the pictures.

    The big problem is the fabric with the printed design is a tightly woven fabric . This makes it almost impossible to pull the wider ribbon thru the fabric. At first I had to use a pliers and twist and turn the needle to get it thru, my hands hurt. Then I used a pointy scissors and made holes in the fabric in order to get the ribbon thru. Please Do not Do that, it is risky. Finally, I used a meat thermometer tip and I pierced the fabric first then I was able to get the threaded needle with the ribbon thru that hole. Note, this is important, as you are finished with each piece of ribbon. You need to sew it down on the wrong side of the design. It was very helpful to watch a video on how to do ribbon embroidery first.

    I loved this kit! I did run out of ribbon on the 4 rose pattern but I probably did more petals than necessary. So I would not let that deter ur purchase. Quality is great.

    This design is really quite lovely however having an outside circle printed on the outside edges where the hoop is, is inconvenient as I wasn’t planning on washing the item afterwards. Now I have to have an unnecessary outline stitch where I didn’t want one.

    These 3 embroidery items are time consuming but worth the effort. When completed, you will have a set of 3 images of famous paintings. Making those little flowers does take time but looks really good when completed. I do wish the kits came with a cardboard circle cover for the back of the hoops so the piece would look neatly finished. Loved working on this let.
