Wow, this book made me want to uproot everything and start new- in the best way possible. I’ve never had the drive to work a 9-5 doing the same thing everyday every week every year. I have multiple jobs that keep me busy and entertained. Working is essential as we all need to make some money and have a sense of productivity, but drowning myself in years of school and debt to spend an eternity paying it off has never been of interest to me. Nor have I ever really known what I want to spend my life doing. I don’t want to do just ONE thing. I wanna explore. Learn. Adapt. Live. This book gave me even more incentive and inspiration to do so. I’m excited to shed my belongings, simplify my lifestyle, and get going. THANK YOU Scott for this wonderful book. It was an easy and enjoyable read. Wonderfully laid out, thought out, and informative. I highly highly highly recommend reading this!!!!!!

I read this book as I was finishing up my last few days of high school. I didn’t have any clue what I want to do with my life and feel as though everyone else had it figured out. This book was an amazing reminder that I don’t have to have it figured out and I also don’t have to go with the crowd to college and work if I don’t really want to do that! Great read, definitely recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars book for those who feel lost in the confines of society

Scott managed to speak the words that so many of us “wanderers” have not been able to express. I cannot recommend this book enough, especially if you feel restricted by society, if you long for more than what the career and money -oriented world has to offer, or if you feel like an outcast from the people around you. This book connects nature to truly living while staying afloat in the career-centered world.

I've set intentions in my life ever since I began this book. It's also engaging! I read the book on the bus a few times lol. It's officially a favorite and I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't wanna live that capitalist, 9-5 life, but doesn't know where to start.

Now, the only reason I rated it 4/5, was that there's one section advising us on how to diet which I felt was shifting away from the main theme of the book so that disappointed me a little. But it's very brief and didn't ruin the book for me at all :)

I kept seeing this book on my fyp on TikTok so I bought it and read it in one setting. This book was inspiring, validating, and encouraging. It inspires me to chase the life I want, validates my unconventional dreams I have, and encourages me to know that I’m not crazy for anything I may dream up and that I can achieve whatever I want out of life! Absolutely amazing read. One of those books you save and read over and over again for sure. Thank you Scott!
