About this item
Oliver "Ollie" Truman
My purpose in life has always been to protect my little brother. And the only way to do that is to do what my dirtbag of a father says—easier said than done. My plan is to save enough money to grab our backpacks and leave these miserable days behind us. There's no harm in having a little fun in the meantime though, is there? And the growling beast who flattens his opponents with a single punch looks like a perfectly hot diversion to me.
The crowd calls him Hulk. Dark intense eyes, large hands, scarred back, huge rocky pecs, thick arms, and tree-trunk thighs. And the bulge in his pants is not a mirage, a very proportionate… appendage.
He growls, I snort. He rejects me, I stalk him. He threatens me, I kiss him. He orders me around, I… that depends, are we in or out of bed?
His broody, rough demeanor dares me to get closer, and his crude, hard words turn me on like nothing ever before. My sassy mouth has gotten me in trouble more times than I can count but he seems to have found a very delicious way to shut me up.
When I discover his protective side? His possessiveness? The secrets? The rage and destruction?
Can two broken souls find their missing pieces among the dark, bloody, jagged ones?
This is an action-packed romance with an HEA and no cliffhangers. It features an over-the-top possessive mountain of a man and a bratty, determined twunk with a sassy mouth. There's violence, blood, torture (only of very bad people), dark humor, amazing side characters, and very rough, spicy scenes. Morality's grey area is quite stretched in this story. For mature listeners.
This is book two in the Angels of Wrath series. Each book follows a different couple.

The suspense was good but the ending felt rushed. We were introduced to some new bad guys though, so I’m really interested in finding out where that goes. I can’t wait to find out which brother falls next!

The Side Characters are everything. Charlie is such a little weirdo. I love it.
What I like most about the series is that once the MCs are together, they're together. Sure, there is some push/pull and arguments, but no third-act breakups.
Though the book is a decent length, it reads as a quick read due to how it's written. Enough detail is given to answer questions the reader might have without it dragging on. There were a couple of times when I felt a little more detail or clarification afterward could've been used, but that's just a preference and not necessary as all situations were technically revealed and answered.
I liked the story, but Michael and Raph are still my favorite ???? so far
And even more so loved the best friend, Lori. I need more appearances of him in this series too. Hoping there's a major angst enemies to lovers story with him and Gabe - that would surely be a page turner ????????????
I liked that there was a plot. I LOVED how Rague pretty quickly became obsessed and protective of Ollie. I love how Ollie doesn’t fear Rague at all and loves to be just a little bit of a brat to make Rague let him know he is owned.
Despite this being very erotic it was also a beautiful love story about 2 broken people finding that their jagged edges fit together.
I started with this book but am definetely going back to read the first and am also going to be following this author from now on!
I just read book one, and I was thrilled to see that book two was released just last week. It's so good. It has me excited for the upcoming books in this series. The characters and storyline are great. It vaguely reminds me of one of my fav found families I love reading about. Rague and Ollie are so good for one another. Their spicy moments were so hot. From the moment Ollie spoke to Rague, I was rooting for them. I loved the humor in this, especially with Lori. Never a dull moment with him around, lol. He definitely needs his own book. This is definitely a series you'll want to read. I can't wait for 3's book. Hope it's Gabriel wink*wink* ????
*mm, size difference, grumpy sunshine, sassy twunk, sweet caring possessive mc, found family*
Never would Rague have guessed that the sassy little fighter he saw in the locker room would be exactly what he needed. He knew what he liked and how he liked it, and not many could handle him based on his beastlyness. Then comes Ollie, and he handles Ragues beauty just fine.
Rague and his brothers are working hard to find out who’s behind the string of deaths that had been showing up. Rague becomes a fighter in the illegal rings which is where he meets his Kitty. And boy does he make him purr.
Ollie is sassy and so incredibly sweet. He may be small but he’s got a huge personality. He’s strong and confident, and wears his heart on his sleeve. He see’s Rague and immediately decides he wants to take him for a ride, only for Rague to decide Ollie was going to be his.
Rague is as damaged as his brothers, but he struggles in a different way than the rest of them. His anger and need to revenge is something he’s been working on. Then he meets Ollie, and finds his anchor. His missing piece. His other half. Ollie is exactly what Rague needs, he can handle him and help him at the same time. He challenges him, but also makes him feel something he’s never felt outside of his family. Ollie and Rague fall in love quickly they just don’t quite realize it.
I’m rarely a fan of side characters but Lori is amazing. He is so sassy and oh so crazy. I absolutely love him.
I’m excited for what’s next in this series, I’m absolutely loving this family
