About this item

I'm the Grinch who saves Christmas…

Yep, you read that right. Every year, I save Christmas—and Christmas Falls—by organizing a massive festival that sustains tourism in our little town.

It turns out that when Christmas is your life 24/7, the shine wears off the twinkly lights after a while. The holidays are a heck of a lot of work, and when I go home, I want peace and quiet, not fa-la-la-ing on my porch.

That all changes when my sister brings me an early Christmas gift. One I didn't ask for. One that's tall, broad, and handsome...

Suddenly this season got a whole lot brighter.

Christmas Falls is a multi-author M/M romance series set in a small town that thrives on enough holiday charm to rival any Hallmark movie.

I loved, loved Griff and Logan’s forced proximity, opposites attract, grump-sunshine, forbidden love, holiday fling romance. This is a heartwarming, funny and steamy romance full of lovable and relatable characters with just a touch of angst. I have a soft spot for the people who are a bit uncomfortable in their skin because they don’t feel like they fit in or are worthy, like Logan. So I love when they finally see their truth and they get swoon worthy HEAs. Griff is divorced single dad who misses his kids. He is also the festival coordinator for the town of Christmas Falls. He is perpetually grumpy and kind of over the holidays. Logan is single and feels rootless due to his difficult past. HE loves the holidays as they remind him of his happy Christmases before his parents were killed in an accident. Griff’s sister, Jess, convinces Logan to go to her family holiday celebration as her fake boyfriend even though he is gay. Jess also convinces Griff to let Logan stay with him since her parent’s home is already overflowing. There is instant and intense attraction and chemistry between Griff and Logan but there’s the sister’s “fake” boyfriend thing in the way. The more time they spend together, the harder it is to deny the attraction but to get to their HEA there needs to be baggage unpacking, truth telling, and hard choices for everyone. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline as shown through big feels, sweet moments, steamy scenes, chuckles, supportive friends, messy families, painful pasts, holiday fun, and all the heart squeezing love. Definitely add this story ťo your list of must read holiday books. 4.5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Holiday Read

This was a wonderful, sweet read that I read in one night at work. I wasn't really sure what to expect with the "Grinch that saves Christmas" description in the blurb, but it fits Griff so well. He comes across as grouchy, but he's such a sweetheart, and a romantic, underneath! Logan has major golden retriever energy but is carrying a lot of scars from his past.

Griff and Logan have an instant connection that they try so hard to fight. When they finally give in, their chemistry is amazing and we get plenty of heat. The heat is balanced by a lot of sweet romantic moments. Both characters showed a lot of personal growth, which isn't something I typically expect with a holiday romance.

Christmas Falls is a quirky little town and I loved all the characters we were introduced to. As I was reading, I was trying to figure out who would feature in the other books of the series. I'm hoping we get a couple more glimpses of Griff and Logan

Jamison is one of those authors that loves to connect all her series. Logan was introduced in the Rules We Break series, and a couple favorite characters from Granville make appearances in this book. There's also apparently a hint in this book about her new series, Swallow Cove. I love having familiar characters pop in to new stories and try to figure out/remember how everyone is connected

I somehow missed this collaboration last year, so after reading most of Christmas Falls season 2, I'm back to see how it all began. I LOVED Griff and Logan's story. The found family and grumpy sunshine tropes are the best. The story was well paced, the romance was spicy, and the ending was satisfying. I'm really enjoying all the Christmas Falls stories.

3.0 out of 5 stars A great book to make you hold onto the family you have, its worth mending fences!

Griffin has a loving family but divorce can put a wedge between a parent not fulltime and children - estranged doesn't help anyone. Fighting hard to hold on and show they are loved makes all the difference. Logan growing up in foster families makes it difficult to put roots down. Finding family is a hard thing to hope for - he could be negative but he endured all & remained positive. MM romance

I love grumpy characters and Griff is definitely a grinch. He lost his love for Christmas despite being the man in charge of the town's holiday festivities. Logan came with his friend on her holiday visit to her family's house acting as her boyfriend. But meeting her hot grumpy brother makes him regret that decision. These two were really sweet as they got to know each other. We learn Logan had a heartbreaking childhood and Griff lost touch with his children after his divorce but wants to reconnect. I loved learning about the town and its citizens. I'm excited to read more about them in the rest of the books in this series. Especially the mystery of the holiday graffiti artist.

Though their beginnings were fraught with a big misunderstanding, forgiveness was around the corner. Learning that family can be fought for and Christmas can still bring miracles was the best gift ever.
