About this item
I’m a lucky man and I know it.
Kids from backwoods Georgia don’t land scholarships to Yale, but I did, and striking it rich–like, billions of dollars rich–with my best friends after graduation should have used up my luck for a lifetime.
But luck struck again when I followed my passion into music. My career exploded, and now I get to travel the world, performing for thousands of raving fans every night.
When you get this lucky, you don’t get to want more, and you definitely don’t get to complain about the little things. My family, my crew, and my label are counting on me and I refuse to let them down. I pretend I’m fine, totally fine, Mr. freaking Fine… even when someone starts targeting me with a strange series of threats.
The only one who sees beneath the pretense is my gorgeous, strictly-professional bodyguard. Ryan keeps me safe and calm. He holds me when I’m terrified.
But even Ryan doesn’t see everything. He doesn’t know I want him. That I crave him. The man who keeps me together has no idea how much I want him to take me apart.
And I’ll never tell. Because there’s no way someone as strong and confident as Ryan could have feelings for someone as chaotic as me.
Nobody’s that lucky… not even Mr. Fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Honey has never been sweeter!
Zee and Bear were just adorable. I love the bodyguard trope, and this story was not a disappointment. Great flow, wonderful characters and smexy times were had. The last book with Kenji and Landry is what I'm waiting for, so I know it's going to be an epic angsty delight.
Lucy Lennox can do no wrong. So GOOD!

4.0 out of 5 stars Soooo Sweeetttt!!
I absolutely devoured this story!!
Zane and Bear are positively too precious for words.
I wish the brotherhood had been a bit more present.
CanNOT wait to read Landry & Kenji!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Always a good time with Lucy Lennox ❤️
I was excited for their story after Tully and Dev.
This was super sweet, low angst, paced like most of Lucy Lennox’s books. Overall, easy, sweet story. Some mystery but nothing too intense.
I also liked that there was less of the brotherhood in this, it can get a bit much sometimes.
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read Landry’s story, he got on my nerves in Way and Silas’ story, but I love Kenji, so I guess I’ll read it anyway. I’m sad the series is coming to an end. ????❤️

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is perfectly fiiiiine!
Bodyguard romances tend to be fun reads for me, especially when the protectee, or "principal" as Ryan calls Zane, is someone who happens to be famous or well-known. Saying Ryan Galloway was protective of Zane Hendley (aka Zee Barlo) may seem like one of those "duh" moments because, hello, he's the guy's bodyguard. However, it was clear that Zane was more than just another job to Ryan. Zane's Bear (aka Ryan for any of you reading this who have yet to read the actual book), though, tried to keep his feelings in check, but hey, resistance is futile, especially when the guy you have feelings for happens to have "the patience of a saint and the kindness of a" darned "Disney princess". Oh, and he's also this beautiful man who sings like an angel and pens lyrics like he's writing love letters. Gah! There's romance and suspense, and Lucy Lennox delivers it all with aplomb. The wit is sharp, the romance swoony, and the suspense went in a direction I didn't see coming. And let's not forget the rest of the billionaires in a brotherhood that is as supportive and caring as they are hilarious and nosy. I love how these men love, and seeing each one fall in love and find their respective happily-ever-afters brings me immense joy. Yup, I'm that invested. Zane and Ryan's HEA? Le sigh, which is why Protecting Mr. Fine has earned itself five stars. And now the waiting game begins for the final member of the Billionaire Brotherhood to get his act together.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book!!
I loved their banter with them, their friends and just anybody around them. It also makes me want to read the other books in the series as well!
