About this item

In this electrifying tenth and final installment of the award-winning, #1 New York Times bestselling Michael Vey series, the Electroclan go on a high-stakes rescue mission.

After saving Tara and Jack—and losing a few of their own—in a dramatic battle in the Peruvian jungle against the Elgen offshoot the Chasqui, the Electroclan has returned to the US to regroup. But their downtime is brief, as Abi—who was abducted from outside her college dorm—is still missing.

Piecing together what few clues they have from video footage of the abduction as well as some additional information from Grace, whose consciousness has broken free of her physical body and connected with worldwide intelligence, they determine that she is being held somewhere in Peru by the leader of a group of other electrics known as the Colony. And so—once again joining forced with Alpha Team for a dual-pronged attack—they return to South America for a rescue mission.

They’ve fought—and won—against incredible odds before. But they’ve never had to face off against others with powers similar to—and potentially stronger—than their own. Still, with the life of one of the Electroclan members at stake, failure is simply not an option as they take on their final mission.

Richard Paul Evan’s is Brilliant. This whole series was edge of your seat, bite your nails kind of good.
I’ve been a fan of his ever since my hubby sold him his first mini van after The Christmas Box became so big… I’ll cherish the signed copies I have of this and many others from over the years. I look forward each year to each one of his new releases. From beautiful children’s books, and Christmas stories, and incredible journeys he NEVER disappoints. Love it!

Great series, my daughter raves about them. She was super excited to get the new release when it came out and had it finished in three days. She says they are awesome. Younger son is just starting with the first book and enjoying it.

There wasn't a book in the series I could put down with a very good reason. Well written like all books be Richard Paul Evans. Would recommend to 12 year olds to adults that enjoy this type if fiction. I'm over 70 years old and Love the Michael Vey series. This was a great way to end the series. Thank you for all your books and expertise in setting stories in such interesting locations.

The plot was well thought out, and the story was fascinating! The entire series is well worth your time to read and enjoy Michael Vey's interesting life. The series has ended.

1 thing, to the Author or the Editor.
1 - The Blue Man never tells Michael his name, yet Michael refers to him BY NAME later in the book, oops

Overall it’s in my
Top 3 list of installments in the series. There are very great moments, some head scratchers, and some heart breaking moments as well. I really enjoyed most of the book, however there are some very big deus ex machina events I take some problem with, however it’s not the first time in the series it’s happened. The ending is… satisfying I suppose. I personally feel there are some questions left unanswered still, but I guess that’s for us to dream ourselves.

My teen pre-ordered this & read it cover-to-cover the day it arrived. Her siblings are now picking it up.

She said this book, like the rest of the series, is a quick, easy, intriguing read!

5.0 out of 5 stars best of all of them (except maybe the first one)

I love this book. 11 out of 10! I love all of the twists but at the same time I hate them. I’m a little bummed that it’s the last one though. (I’m hoping he’ll write another series). I read it in two days and my sister isn’t far behind. I would definitely recommend it.
