About this item

Jack Mathews wanted to get away from the city and enjoy some time on the slopes. He’d rented a nice cabin in the mountains and was more than ready to spend some time alone before the holidays.

Being from a large family, Ronnie Diaz decided this was a good year for him to spend a white Christmas with his dog, Chewie. He’s looking forward to some peace and quiet, but no amount of planning would have helped when the weather took a turn for the worse.

Two strangers with very different lifestyles stuck together in a snow-covered cabin with no heat or power. It might take more than a cute dog to help them survive it.

Jack and Ronnie, two opposites who want to spend the holidays alone. Jack because of work and Ronnie because of his big family. Both go to Tahoe and a snow storm hits and Ronnie ends up in a snow pile. Jack ends up helping Ronnie and letting Ronnie stay at his cabin. As the storm continues, they find that they have more in common then they thought. I really enjoyed this book.

I love a good Christmas romance and this was perfect. The story was excellent with lots of romance and cheer, the characters are a perfect match and their ending was spot on. Great read.

This is a cute holiday story. Two strangers looking forward to their time alone end up braving the snow together in this and it was so entertaining to read.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

This was a cute snowed in, no power what shall we do romance? Perhaps less realistic than most romances, it was still fun to see the guys learn to get along and then fall in love. I appreciated the follow up and their HEA.

Is there any book by BL Maxwell that isn't fantastic. This is another one of them. When I get to laugh, cry, pee myself a little with worry and then it resolves, I couldn't be happier. And when it's for Christmas, my heart sings a little louder and I love it!
This is that book. Don't waste any more time reading my comments and start reading this book, OK? Seriously, I am sitting here cheesing (big, happy grin on my face, for those not in the know! ;-) And I get to totally feel in the holiday spirit, and it's only the 9th of November! Thank you, BL Maxwell. You've done it for me again.

I used to be someone who did not like reading holiday stories before the first of December, but the pandemic changed all that. Now I’m happy to read a feel-good winter story any time after Halloween, which is my favorite holiday. BL Maxwell delivers a sweet opposites-attract short story that is a great beginning to the season in A Lot of Snow for Christmas. The main characters, Jack, who does not like people, and Ronnie, who seems to love everyone, could not be more dissimilar. It takes an act of nature in the form of a huge snowstorm to bring them together. It was fun watching Jack thaw out and embracing a big change. And while we don’t get to see how their mutual attraction works outside of the cabin, there is a nice epilogue that tells us how it results. I received a free copy of A Lot of Snow for Christmas via Booksprout and am leaving a review voluntarily.
