    It's a fine list of things that a visitor to the Peninsula would do. It certainly could use some pictures and maps.

    And to be picky, there is no historical evidence that Treasure Island was written on the Monterey Peninsula, or that the locale was Stevenson's impetus for the novel.

    This is a good series that gets down to it when looking for things to do at your destination without having to read a novel for just a few ideas. Katie does an excellent job highlighting what locals and visitors love most about the Monterey Bay area. Don't miss the aquarium!
