    So freaking good! Literally inhaled this book in less than a day. The chemistry and care. The sadness and insecurity. The love and devotion. Rylan was like a breath of fresh air literally so vibrant and fun. Caring and charismatic. I adored everything he offered to Hayes. And Hayes so adorably imperfect that you have no choice but to love him. His hurt and fear made him so relatable. The way he mentally grew stronger throughout the story was so fulfilling. The only thing I wish for is that the story to go on and on. I hope we get to see them in the rest of the series because I need a wedding Riley!

    Definitely an entertaining read I really enjoyed these two the steamy scenes where on point and I especially like how it wasn't boring at any certain point I enjoyed hockey and I enjoyed the romance and everything in between can't wait for the rest of the series.

    I am very curious about Anthony.

    My heart! This was simply such a beautiful, feel-good, happy, hopeful, loving story.
    We have Hayes, who’s been seriously hurt by his cheating ex. He’s closed off to friendships and love and definitely doesn’t want anything serious, even though he’s determined to get confidence in himself.
    Then there’s Rylan, the sweetest, sexiest, most wonderful hockey player in the world. Who’s also not looking for anything serious, but will totally bend his rules for Hayes, who he’s convinced has magical abilities that help him play better when they’re together.
    What could go wrong? Absolutely nothing because this book was so sweet, and wonderful, and LOVING!
    Seeing Hayes start loving himself and putting himself first was so wonderful. The Jilted Exes’ club is amazing and I love Don and Anthony. Cannot wait for book 2!

    This was a nice start to a new series by Riley Hart. I really enjoyed Rylan and Hayes.

    Rylan was great and building up Hayes self-esteem and Hayes did good taking care of Rylan. I liked the side characters. Mads and Rylan’s parents were great.

    We didn’t find out a whole lot about the other jilted exs as far as back ground goes but I am looking forward to their books as well. Hoping Mads gets a book too.

    I first discovered Riley Hart a few years ago, and the only thing I would like to be different is that I didn't find her sooner. I love her books, and this one is just proof as to why. One of the happiest moments of Hayes' life turns into a nightmare and an internet sensation to top it off. Hayes proposes to his boyfriend at a hockey game and instead of an answer Hayes gets nothing but walked out on and later on finds out that he wasn't the only one his boyfriend was seeing and hooking up with. Thus making him part of what the internet has dubbed as the Jilted Exes Club. Rylan is a popular face in hockey and is damn good. But after a passionate night with a mysterious man, he goes above and beyond the next night at his hockey game. So when suddenly he's faced with the man he had an incredible one night stand with he begins to think that the reason his game was so good is because of hooking up with that same man who he later finds out is Hayes. Neither knew who the other was, but when Rylan proposes that they keep having amazing sex and that they both can get something out of it. Rylan gets to indulge his superstition and gets to know more about this man who caught his eye, and Hayes gets more experience without the strings and getting hurt. But the more they spend time together besides just being in the bedroom, they begin to see that there's more than just insane chemistry. Hayes makes Rylan feel like no one ever has before, and Rylan shows Hayes that there are good men out there and that he deserves more than what's he's been given his whole life. Rylan builds him up, and Hayes slowly starts to see his worth and that it doesn't depend on the opinions of others. These two were so beautiful and hot together. They were exactly what the other needed, and they definitely deserved their happily ever after

    I really like Riley Hart and I love hockey but the characters were so .. flat. They just didn't have real chemistry and just repeated the same lines over and over again. Honestly, Hayes has no personality and seems like kind of a jerk. I found the main characters friends to be more interesting than would rather have read about them.

    Oh this book made me smile the entire time! Poor Hayes, he was humiliated by his boyfriend in the public eye so he swore off relationships, but then he crosses paths with Rylan who has an absolute heart of gold. He is just perfect to bring Hayes out of his shell and see himself the way Rylan sees him. The chemistry and banter between them is on point with lots of smoking hot encounters too, and the growth and friendship that develops as they keep connecting was just lovely to read. This is a fabulous first installment in a new series, we meet the two guys who I hope will be the next book, and there is a wonderful cast of secondary characters that just rounded out this excellent book!

    There was a brief mention of one mc hooking up with someone else after the first one night stand with the other mc when they thought they’d never see each other again. I’m never a fan of other hookups but it was off page and so quick I overlooked it this time.

    The couple in this story were really cute together. A confident hockey player meets insecure hotel heir, sparks fly, lots of spice, believable romance.
