About this item

Once upon a time, a hunter broke a vampire's heart…

As the trials for Sangui City's throne reach their climax, Red finds herself at the center of a millennia-old prophecy. As the newly awakened dhampir, she holds the power to reshape the future—or destroy it.

Octavia Beaumont, driven by her quest for acceptance, must confront the painful truths of her past to secure her place as ruler.

But as ancient secrets unravel, she discovers that the greatest threat may come from those she trusted most.

With demons rising and alliances shifting, Red and Octavia face their greatest challenge yet: saving a city on the brink of chaos while navigating the complexities of love.

To claim victory, they must:

Unmask a villain hiding in plain sight

Decide if love can overcome betrayal

Make sacrifices that will echo through generations

As the boundary thins and magic surges back into the city, Red and Octavia stand at a crossroads. Their choices will determine not just their own fates, but the destiny of Sangui City itself.

In a tale where blood is power and trust is currency, can a hunter and a vampire forge a future from the ashes of the past? Or will the weight of history crush their love forever?

This gripping conclusion features political intrigue, enemies to lovers, supernatural battles, chosen one prophecy, found family, and two women fighting for their right to love and lead. With themes of redemption, identity, and the true meaning of family, it delivers one hell of an end to an epic romance saga.

5.0 out of 5 stars JUST WOW!!! If you haven't read the series, you're missing out!!!

Ruby Roe has done it again! House of Crimson Curses is the perfect conclusion to The Kingdom of Immortal Lovers trilogy, skillfully wrapping up all the loose ends and answering the questions that have kept me eagerly turning pages since book one. After the shocking cliffhanger in the second book, I couldn’t wait to dive back into the world Roe has created.

This final book is everything fans of the series could want—gripping plots, complex characters, and unexpected twists that keep you on the edge of your seat. The spice is there in full force, adding to the tension and excitement that builds throughout the book. As the story unfolds, I found myself loving every character (even those who drove me mad at times), and the emotional rollercoaster made it impossible to put the book down.

What I love most about this series is the rich blend of tropes that make it so enjoyable. From enemies-to-lovers and found family to steamy moments and the grumpy gargoyles trope, House of Crimson Curses offers something for everyone. This series is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a thrilling, passionate, and utterly unpredictable ride from start to finish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Such a great ending to the trilogy!

I love how this book tied things together but I hate that it ended! Such a great book with love and betrayal and action. As usual the MC's are volatile but so tightly connected. No spoilers but we almost lose Red multiple times and it is heart wrenching each time. Will the door open? Will magic be returned? Such a good book. I can't wait for another by the author.

Another great story by Ruby Roe. Great storyline, likable and unlikable characters. The love story gave me the feels. The spice was hot hot. This book wrapped up the series nicely.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh how i loved this

I was shook from reading the second book, that I wasn't sure if my heart was ready for this one, but it did deliver just as much, if not more, as the first two books. It was such an emotional Rollercoaster ride, that when I wasn't able to read this book (because I must work in order to pay for books. Such a shame if you ask me.) I was constantly thinking about it and counting down until I can continue reading. I loved this serious so much. I thank the author for giving us such an amazing story to fall in love with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very spicy but with a great story

I wasn't sure at first. I'm not normally a vampire novels kind of person, but I decided to try a few chapters and I got pulled in. For me it was the audio version but this last book hadn't come out on audio yet so I bought it on the Kindle because I couldn't wait I had to have the end of the story and even now I know I have to have midnight story as well.

I just wish there was a way Octavius true mother could have been part of her future.
