    Grae Bryan has a knack for writing cute and funny books with a dash of humor and spice. I'm an absolute sucker for a morally grey man who is possessive and protective, which Kai has in spades. I also love that we get to see Alexei and Jay again and get more backstory there through Sascha.

    Sascha is precious and sweet, and Kai is the perfect fit for him. The way that Kai sees what Sascha actually needs?? Absolutely adorable! This was a very quick read with spice and fun and just enough intrigue (which is admittedly pretty small) to keep things interesting. I absolutely can't wait for Ivan's book with Nix and Matteo's book with Nightmare. This is such a fun new series, and I'm so here for it!

    Honestly the banter in this book had me keep going. Because it made the situations not as serious but even more serious if that makes sense. The plot was nice and the characters are beyond great. But if there was one thing I would tell someone o they’d read it. Spicy level 2/5 (my opinion) banter 5/5. It was so cute. Like this is such a healthy building relationship.

    This book was refreshing, hilarious, cute, entertaining, and left me begging for more!
    Kai was everything, OMG I wanted to rifle through that book and get one of my own!!! ????
    Sascha was more than I expected and so refreshing to read! ????
    Their banter was life. Their love was everything. Their steam ????????????????????????????????????????????????
    The side characters were fleshed out and so interesting in their own right.
    Everything about this book just worked, and I have a new favorite author!
    Can't wait to read the next one!! ????

    My 1st read by this author will definitely not be my last. This is an incredibly witty take On human and demon Courtship romance. There is a great backstory Built That keeps the entry going. It definitely has that Mafia background but that's not where the story is truly built. It's fast paced And just the right amount of spice Which means definitely????????????????????

    Sadly, mine seemed to always be of a more inner-demon type, and not the hunky soulful type.

    Kai is adorable and devoted and easy on the eyes. Sascha is kind, funny, and witty. Their love story is funny, sweet, romantic, and as spicy as Kai’s … ahem…

    Definitely cannot wait for the rest of this series!

    Sascha and Kai were so fun to read. Sascha has a really fun personality with lots of sass and bluntness but with so many soft edges despite his trauma. His initial summoning/ meeting with Kai was hilarious and perfectly set the stage for these two to endlessly entertain throughout the story. Kai was hilariously dense sometimes but reading his pov really showed how genuine and straightforward his thoughts and intentions were. He could have easily come off as a throwaway character just there for laughs and drama but he was written so well you couldn’t help but care for him and want to know more.

    Sascha and his brothers almost stole the show though. Their interactions were funny and complex and so full of sibling snark with barely concealed affection. The scenes between them were some of my favorite in the whole book and I can’t wait for Ivan to get his own HEA.
