    My Dark Prince is a story of first love, second chances, family trauma, abandonment,fake engagement, found family and grand gestures.

    Ollie is the guy that takes care of everyone only no one notices. Briar is the girl alone in the world. They were first loves. Tragedies happen and their sky falls. A second chance occurs and chaos begins.

    This story is full of angst. I cried for the lost girl and the family trauma. I laughed out loud at the bigger than life best friends. The nerd in me loved the poking fun at presentations and fonts. My heart grew at the second chances and swooniest grand gestures. There is a sweet HEA.

    This is book three in a series of best friends that find their person in the most unusual places. It definitely could be read as a standalone, but you would miss out on the deliciousness of the first two books.

    I read and listened to this book. Andi Arndt and Christian Fox create the best voices to the fun banter, the angst and the spice.

    Welcome back to Dark Prince Road with Oliver von Bismarck and Briar Rose—childhood sweethearts with unfinished business.

    Oliver is a surprising standout, especially considering what we’ve seen from him in the previous Dark Prince Road series. He’s both romantic and wicked in the best way. Briar, on the other hand, is fierce and more than capable of giving Oliver a taste of his own medicine. Their banter is sharp, hilarious, and full of chemistry.

    Briar has endured so much, and I found myself cheering her on at every turn. Her character development took me by surprise in the best way, making her journey deeply satisfying from start to finish.

    Once you get past the amnesia, you truly get to know Briar and Oliver for who they’ve become. Their dynamic doesn’t fully take shape until about halfway through the book, but that seems to be an intentional choice—and it’s well worth the wait.

    If you loved My Dark Romeo and My Dark Desire, or if you’re a sucker for second-chance romances with a happily ever after, Oliver and Briar’s story is one you won’t want to miss.

    Oliver had always been a little eccentric and completely smitten with the same girl for years, and I was totally here for it. Let me just say, I absolutely adored this book. The witty banter had me bursting with laughter, and the electric connection between Ollie and Briar was amazing! This second chance romance was brimming with secrets, unveiling a side of Ollie that only made me love him more. The guy was not a saint, but he is absolutely charming!

    This series of retellings is truly one of a kind. While they follow some themes of the original stories, they bring a fresh and exciting twist that sets them apart from the rest.

    If you're a fan of Sleeping Beauty retellings with a unique spin and fascinating characters, then this is a must-read!

    Parker and LJ blew me away with how truly amazing this book was!! The way I devoured this book. Gah I still can’t get over it. It was definitely a roller coaster of emotions. So many scenes had me crying from laughing so hard and some others had me wanting to climb into the book to give these characters a hug. Ollie has stolen my heart. He had me swooning from the very beginning with how sweet he was and had a heart of gold. And Briar I absolutely loved her character. She was so strong and the perfect match for Ollie. She gave it as good as she got. After I finished reading this book I immediately wanted to go back to page one just so I could experience it all over again. This book is a must read!! 10 out 10 recommend!!

    I was lucky to get an arc copy of this gem & ohh boy was I right how precious this book really is. I've been waiting for Ollie's story since the 1st book in the series because I knew there was soo much more behind the facade he let everyone believe. I was right. Ollie just loves deeply for his family & his girl. that's his downfall. Briar has never been truly loved till Ollie. She's been let down by everyone in her life. so when the inevitable happens she decides not to love deeply anymore.. at all. that is till Ollie comes barging back into the picture. He always knew how strong his Briar is. This is a very sweet childhood to lovers, Sleeping Beauty retelling story & I couldnt get enough of it. Read it 3 times now. & I'm obsessed with Ollie & Briar they're perfect for each other. we get glimpses from the other characters from the previous books & let me tell you Dallas is even better in this one. Her strong hilarious banter comes thru strong in this book. This book is a Top read of 2025 for me. Thanks to my favorite authors L.J. Shen & Parker S Huntington for making us girls believe that there's a prince out there for every single one of us.

    I think I would give this book 3.5⭐️. I absolutely love Ollie, but the “romance” of this book was on the light side. I was constantly laughing at the banter, and the text chains will forever stay with me. I liked the story enough, but I do wish for more romance.

    This story lacked nothing. It had banter, it had heat, it had friendship and it had family-real and found.

    Ollie and Briar are a perfect match. Some years separated them and the reasons why such a mystery. We eventually find them out and it is worth every suspenseful chapter.

    I am not ready for this series to be over. I hope that these authors write more together. They are as great as a duo as they are single writers.

    I loved every word and I devoured the book as fast as my schedule allowed.
