    The Next Chapters: An On the Same Page Novella by Haley Cass is an absolute delight and a perfect continuation of Riley and Gianna’s love story. Having adored On the Same Page, I was beyond excited to dive into this novella, and Cass certainly did not disappoint. This novella gave me everything I hoped for and more—a beautiful glimpse into the lives of Riley and Gianna as they navigate the next stages of their relationship, from marriage to parenthood.

    I absolutely loved the way this novella was written with another dual timeline, continuing the style of On the Same Page. Haley Cass masterfully blends glimpses of Riley and Gianna’s past experiences with their current life, maintaining the same emotional depth and chemistry that made the first book so memorable. It was fun and heartwarming to see how those formative moments from their past shaped the life they’ve built together, giving the story a beautiful sense of continuity and growth. Cass is exceptional at crafting characters who feel so real, and it was such a joy to reconnect with the same cast of characters in this novella.

    I love the way Cass switches perspectives. Unlike the previous book, where the memories and current actions were divided between the two main characters, this novella offered a more balanced view of both Riley and Gianna’s thoughts and emotions. It was wonderful to see the world through both of their eyes as they grew individually and together, deepening their connection with each passing chapter.

    Watching their family grow and the evolution of their love was simply heartwarming. While I did wish for more scenes with Mia and Ellie, I completely understand that this novella was dedicated to Riley and Gianna’s story. The focus on their relationship was beautifully done, and it was clear that Cass put a lot of thought into showing the growth of their love and their journey together.

    Haley Cass is truly an incredible storyteller, and I will continue to devour her work with gusto. This novella is a must-read for anyone who loved On the Same Page—it’s fun, emotional, and packed with the kind of love that will leave you smiling for days. I can’t wait for her next release, and I highly recommend The Next Chapters to anyone looking for a heartfelt and satisfying follow-up to a beloved romance!

    At this point, if I see a Haley Cass release I’m buying it.

    This companion novella was no exception. I absolutely loved On The Same Page and The Next Chapters is the perfect addition. Staying in the same vein of the back and forth timeline between their early years and current years is such a fun and unique experience that adds all those extra feelings of happiness for this pair to have made it where they are.

    It’s set at a quick pace of really hitting the high notes of their lives together. So perhaps it feels a little less fleshed out than On The Same Page but you don’t miss it as it is really filled to the brim with powerful declarations and feelings galore.

    If you’ve read On The Same Page it’s a travesty for you to not see where life takes these two. I highly recommend this after-ever-after read.

    If there was one thing that I'd wanted from One the Same Page, it was more after Riley and Gianna finally got together romantically.

    And that is exactly what this novella is. Snapshots in time from their life after that moment. It's told in the same way as previous book, (short) scenes from the past, and then (longer) ones from current time.

    It was an absolutely great way to finish off the story. Seeing them become that little bit more, fully embracing their relationship and taking it to the next level. Loved it, and it really is a must read after finishing On the Same Page.

    Another great novella from Haley! Whenever I finish reading a book, I’m always left wanting more. To know what happens later in life, do they get married, do they have kids, are they still deeply in love. And Haley really does come through. She’s keeping me fed. I don’t know why it took me so long to read On The Same Page, but I absolutely love Gianna and Riley. Definitely read both On The Same Page and The Next Chapters. 100% worth it.

    In The Next Chapters, Haley Cass provides what I often wish for after finishing a satisfying sapphic HEA novel such as Cass’s On the Same Page — a look into the future to see what lies ahead for the newly captivated couple.

    Cass takes us on a fast pass through the next decade of Riley and Gianna’s life together. We witness a few of their significant life events — their marriage, the birth of their first child, and career changes.

    But the value of the novelette lies in Cass’s skill at sharing the experience of the love the couple have for each other — how thoroughly they share themselves, and trust each other, and how deeply engrossed they are in the other’s happiness.

    The author gives her readers a satisfying wrap-up to the original story — just as she does with Forever and a Day as a fast-forward look at the life Charlotte and Sutton create following their startup in the wonderful Those Who Wait.

    Haley Cass writes a fun, emotional follow-up to On the Same Page. The same cast of characters, the awesome chemistry, the hints of past together with the now(ish).
    I loved that this gave a switch of perspectives, unlike the previous book where the memories were one MCs and the current actions were the other MCs.
    I loved seeing the family grow, the growth of love between characters. I wish we would have seen more of Mia and Ellie, but as this was for Riley and Gianna, I could understand.
    Haley Cass is an exceptional storyteller, and I will continue to follow her. I look forward to the next release in a month.
