    This was an awesome addition to the Talyn’s Saga. The characters are great, the story is incredible, I can’t wait to read book 5!

    A lot goes on as the author has to finish the events from the previous book. This unfortunately leads to less time with the MC than I would have liked but the events and new characters introduced are almost as good. The story also is amazing in making up for it. The events flow smoothly and as the plot advances, everything makes sense and sets up the next book wonderfully.

    Characters have great growth or new sides shown. The guardians are intense and a certain dragon has her moments. A new character is introduced that’s entertaining. Hints are given about a princess having some sort of secret that is never followed up on that will in have readers wondering what she is hiding and will it be revealed in the next book? On top of that, the ending is spectacular and leaves readers wanting the next book.

    This is another fantastic installment, I really can't wait for the next one. I really love how this series continues to be more about advancement and adventure rather than constant extreme trials. Don't get me wrong there are challenges but the series continues to focus more on the character development and individual adventures that make this series such a fun read.

    I like that this book was a little more relaxed than the last one. There is still plenty of action, but if there was as much constant danger as the previous books, it would have felt a little forced to me.
    I also liked the perspectives of some of the other characters, both close to Talyn and some Talyn has never met.

    Repose offers a look into the wider world of Talyn as a number of plot points are resolved. Talyn works to advance her companions and her skills while working towards her ultimate goals. New interesting characters are introduced and a number of characters get their chance to shine. I'm always excited for a new book in the series to be introduced and often reread the entire series beforehand and this tale adds to that pleasure.

    All of Medrano's books are great for reading. He has an incredible way with worlds building that sucks you in. A very fascinating and engrossing story.

    But be aware you will need to wait a long time between books in a series as these takes him up to a year to produce!
