    Ryan Taylor and Joshua Harwood have an incredible knack for capturing your attention from the first page and holding it tight until the very end. ???????????? ???????????? was absolutely amazing. Gabe and Brody’s chemistry was off the charts, and their emotional journey kept me riveted. The tension, the teasing, and those achingly real moments of doubt made their love story feel so genuine.

    Watching them fight for their relationship, , and ultimately find their way back to each other was perfection . The team dynamic was hilarious, supportive, and full of heart. The hockey action was edge-of-your-seat intense, and that final game-winning goal gave me goosebumps.

    Watching Gabe and Brody find happiness together made every challenge they overcame worthwhile.

    This book is a captivating blend of passion, emotion, humor, and unforgettable moments.

    Taylor and Harwood excel at crafting realistic characters that make you wish they were your friends. The mental health representation is authentic and skillfully written.

    Ryan & Josh have an amazing way with words, always writing with heat & heart. They built this hockey world and introduce us to characters that are so lovable. Gabe and Brody are such sweethearts, they deserve the world. The heat & connection is instantaneous, and packed with so much spice you might combust. Parts of this book broke my heart, both Brody and Gabe go through life needing something more, and when they found each other you just pray they can help each other. Trust the process and you’ll definitely find yourself loving these two like they are your own best friends. Ryan & Josh well done ♥️

    This one was a bit tough for me. It took me a little to get in to. I didn't really feel a connection to the characters in the beginning and felt it was too much oh I want him, oh I want him and not enough depth.

    Brody, is such a sweetheart that had horrible things happen to him. My heart broken for him.

    Gabe took me a bit longer to get in to. He said that he wanted a relationship and wanted more but his mentality was all about hooking up, even with Brody. It just didnt feel as if his thoughts matched what he said he really wanted.

    The conflict was kinda obvious but thankfully it didnt last that long.

    Sometimes you just find an author you vibe with in a way you can’t explain. The anticipation for each new book is overwhelming and when you read it , it’s always everything you hoped for. Ryan Taylor and Joshua Harwood are those authors for me.
    Because they are “own voices”, their point of view always feels authentic and realistic. Their character development lets me see into the minds and hearts of their sometimes flawed but always beautiful men. I learn things, I feel things and I grow a little bit with each book they write.
    Net Bet is the second installment of the Buffalo Warriors hockey series and features Brody, the newest member of the team. Needing a fresh start after a horrible situation involving a former teammate, an emotionally scarred and shaken Brody is traded to the Warriors. He can’t imagine ever trusting another man until he meets Gabe, the Warrior’s goalie.
    Gabe is jaded and so tired of dating superficial influencers who only want to trade on his fame. He just wants something real and sustainable. I loved watching the dance as these two men cautiously navigated through their growing attraction while trying to protect their hearts.
    I’m not a mental health professional, but I always feel like that aspect of the characters is handled with truth and sensitivity. Their emotional damage is real. It is not sugar coated or easily solved with an “I love you”. It takes time and work and I’m so grateful Ryan and Josh give them that. It keeps me rooting for them to succeed and when they do, the HEA is so satisfying!
    This book has incredible hockey scenes that will leave you breathless. It’s clear how much these authors (and characters) know and love their sport. The excitement of the game is woven throughout the book and will have you on the edge of your seat during crucial moments.
    Lest you think this book is just hockey and angst, let me reassure you the heat between these two is like a five alarm fire! These are some of the most scorching and inventive scenes I’ve ever read in an MM romance, so buckle up!! ???????????? These are two bold athletes who don’t mind engaging in a little NSFW activity no matter where they are—if the feeling strikes!
    I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait for the audiobook next! Highly recommend!!
