BRAVA! Such a heartwarming story with tons of characters from other books. It was magical once you get through the angst and processing.

Superbly written novel of Jack’s journey to accepting love and Dakota’s journey to discovering a whole new part of who she is. I find it fascinating that you read the thoughts of the characters and you want to respond to them: “go ahead”, “it will get better”, “take the leap”, “open your heart and mind … then dive in”. All of the characters were well developed and strong. A very good read. I unequivocally, heartily, and most enthusiastically recommend ALL of Harper Bliss’ works. Thank you Peace ????????????

good book, but….

I can see how this would be a 5 star book for a lot of people and I did enjoy reading it. The characters were likable and a few surprise characters from her other books made an appearance. I really enjoyed that part. However, and this is probably just personal preference but I absolutely hate it when the character responsible for any hurt or any break up or is the one being a jerk isn’t the one to try to get the other one back!! It’s a pet peeve of mine when the chasing is one-sided especially when it’s the wrong character doing the chasing!!! I like a bit of angst, and I don’t mind break ups or misunderstandings even, I just don’t like the chasing being done by the one not at fault.
I would still recommend but with that caveat.

A well written story between two different characters, one looking for love and the other one for a one night stand. Love the story, don’t want to give spoilers the characters grow over time.

There were so many things about this book I enjoyed. The MCs chemistry, banter, and connection were absolutely beautifully written. Steamy scenes were off the charts. It was an interesting dynamic, and I truly felt like it was going in the right direction and then re-enter another conflict, which felt drawn out and typical. Missed opportunities in establishing an eventual formed connection between Jack & the twins. 3.5 stars.
